"Quality planet audio 2,000 Watt Amp (not 4kw at 1 ohm) that will run at 1/2 ohm at 3,400 watts but is not strappable It's a great budget buy that costs less than $200 fresh and less than $150 if you find a refurb. At 1 ohm, this amp puts out about 1900 watts, 2600 watts at.8 ohms, and 3400 watts at.5 ohms. Even though it is not recommended to go lower than 1 ohm, this amp can run at.5 all day if you have the correct electrical. I purchased two of them, each running at.5 ohms and connected to a pair of dual 2 ohm subs. When wired in parallel, the amps see.5 ohms before impedance increases. They do, however, need 380 amps of current per amp instead of 270 amps per amp at 1 ohm. So, instead of running a 2kw amp on stock electrical with 1-2 100ah AGM batteries or a high output alternator, you'll need a high output alternator 240 amps or greater, as well as at least one decent true 100ah AGM battery if you wire this amp to.5 ohms. It's for this reason that people blast these amps. They don't have enough electrical power to manage the current that these amps require. It's incredibly quiet and never gets hot like hifonics. The fan performs admirably."
