  "You get a lot of bang for your money with this amp! few negative feedback for this product, but I must admit that in the amplifier industry, a lot of people who aren't well-versed in proper sound system setup make misleading or incorrect claims about products. These individuals tarnish all items, whether of good or poor quality. These Hifonics brutus 3016 are in perfect condition. At all, 1 amp. I got mine today and have been blasting it with all kinds of bass-heavy music with no problems. It will put a lot of strain on your electrical system, so if you use anything more than 600 watts of rms power, I suggest adding a second battery to your vehicle. This amplifier obviously produces far more than 600 rms, and I believe it is very similar to the advertised ratings. The sound quality is excellent, and the bass is extremely strong. So far, the amp hasn't even warmed up. This is a large amp, measuring just over 3 feet in length. Hifonics is a well-known brand in the car audio industry, and it will never produce inferior products. As far as I can tell, one of the few mistakes you can make with this amplifier is to attach it to subwoofers that can't handle at least 1000rms power or to an electrical system that isn't up to scratch. I'm not even going to get started on overcranking the gain and boost settings. This Hifonics super class D 3016.1 mono block amplifier has exceeded my expectations. If there are any problems, I will post them here. I'm hoping for more accurate feedback of this item from others. With this beast of an amp, I suggest Alpine 12"" style r's because WOW! "

  I have had my amp for about a year now still doing great... I am running two 10 inch jl audios and I blew one up the other day going to work... (what happens when you bump everywhere you go for a year lol) very happy with amp just trying to find new subwoofers now!

  So I bought my second amp it’s a hifonics brx brutus 3016.1 class d mono block it’s by far one the amps I’ve ever had I’m gonna purchase the 4 channel Brutus here in a couple of weeks I would recommend this product too any newbie like myself if your really looking to upgrade you boom in the trunk get things shaking damn I’m so impressed thanks and the time of delivery sooner than expected thanks again

  Recieved product excited to finally get a larger amp, rewired my entire setup and added a battery. Went to test bump and there was little to no noise coming from my woofers, switched amps and everything was fine. I doubt it was an error on my part. I'm sure it would have been a decent amp but the quality control is definitely lacking.

  This is a good amp for the money. Im pretty sure it's not putting out what it claims to though. Definitely buy an amp rated a few hundred watts more than you actually need.

  I always been a Kenwood amp guy....this is my first time switching. The hifonics Brutus is out of this world! I got it pushing 2 kicker L7 15's! Amp not turned up much with red top battery for more support. My truck is about to fall about from all the bass!!!

  This thing slams. I got three audiopipe bd2s in a ported box and this thing pushes them. When you really close to the peak of it's wattage along with already being warm it gets real power hungry. If you need don't give it that power then the bass isn't really as tight. Not a big issue because I am kinda ppushing it but overall not really what we haven't seen already In a budget amp. but other than that it's greatness. I feel like it might be around 2800ish tho not fully 3k but like really other than that if you rocking three p3s or three type Rs then go with this. Can't beat the price for the quality. my bd2 12s quake like 15s.

  Definitely produces at least 2500 watts RMS at a 1 ohm load if not maybe closer to rated. Regardless 300 dollars for this amount of clean sounding power is certainly a great deal. Amp does get hot, although I run it for at least an hour straight on 90 degree weather with my gain just a bit over matching my head unit and with the amps bass boost maxed, and the bass control knob half way. Yes I am pushing this amp to its absolute limit. This needs power. 2AWG or 0 g international is a must and it needs at least a 250 amp fuse just after the battery. I have a 200 amp alternator with the proper big 3 upgrade and it absolutely slams. Stock battery, Eventually going to obtain dual yellow top Optima batteries. Should be about perfect for this monster. You need well built subs to reach full potential. Sundown, Orion, CT Sounds, DC Audio are well made brands.

  "Just got the brutus 1116.d 1100 watt mono d amp and installed it .i have to say i was a little nervous about ordering a somewhat off brand amp but am really pleased with my purchase. The amp has very nice blue glow through the logo and speaker/ground and power wire area.I have 2 jl w3v2 d4 wire to 2 ohms for now and this amp is pushin them hard .alsoev came with a bass knob with blue led would recommend. #POUNDING and the amp is barely warm after 45 mins of hard use we shall see if it holds up!Update everything still holding up months later wired at 1 ohm never over heats or goes to protect mode.still going strong "

  "Do not buy this amp or any from hatchfield because they are not an authorized dealer and they only give you a 30 day warranty and the manufacturer will not stand behind their warranty. I even bought the protection plan from treasure point and they won't stand behind the warranty unless you had amp for more than a year and treasure point won't stand behind any of them. One big ripoff!! Do not buy amps from them. Amp stopped working in 33 days and nobody will help you!!! "

  Very nice amp. Got it hooked up to 2 Fosgate 6x9's and it sounds like I got a 10" sub in the trunk. I've been hooking up systems for 20 years and never delt with Hifonics. You can't go wrong with this amp nice clean sound. A 4 show buy I recommend it. 5 stars mane.......

  Some people knock Hifonics, but I've only had good experiences with them good price, quality, looks, and reliability. Easily ran 2 12in P3 and later a 10in Skar DDX pushing full power the sub was hoppin.

  I have this amp running at 2ohms powering two nvxvcw122s which it does extremely well. This amp has never turned off under full load and puts out the rated rms. I was taking a trip in my car from Lincoln Maine to Plymouth New Hampshire which was about 4:30hrs and my subs never turned off and my amp never got to a dangerous temperature. This is the best amp purchase I have made and I am very impressed by Hifonics quality for the price when kicker charges $1000 for the equivalent amp.

  Just want to say this amp is a beast. Bumps my 15 harrrd. Also for those I see in these reviews saying it will not fit a 0 gauge power and ground... not true, it 100% definitely fits 0 gauge wires. Also I noticed people talking about bridging it and it being a 4 channel amplifier. Also false. It is a monoblock amp. That means 1 channel. You cannot bridge 1 channel. At any rate this amp is as badass as I'd hoped it would be and I plan to buy another one asap. I recommend it to anyone with a set of subs or single sub that can handle 1600 rms. True watts.
