"this hifonics amp is more than enough It's a sealed marine style car amplifier that's small enough to match. Is it 250 watts per ohm at 4 ohms? Certainly not. At 4 ohms, it's probably 75W RMS true and 125W max. To put it another way, it's adequate for applications requiring a smaller sub. On a power hungry sub like the JL12W3, you may want to spend a little more, but for smaller or more powerful subs, it'll suffice. I'm a little disappointed (I expected less than rated, but not quite this much less), but I'm happy. It's a new marine sub amp with built-in LPF and HPF that costs $75 and is around the size of four baseballs. between skar audio, sundown audio, american bass, tramps i choosed it and never regreat. "

I was a little hesitant to buy this amp, cause you get what you pay for. But it’s compact size worked awesome in my polaris! Paired it with 2 6.5 wake tower speakers and they sound great. So far it’s stood up to the water and mud!
