"It is well worth the money set aside in the budget. It's driving two power acoustic mofo 15s at 1 ohm and it's not even set to half of what it's capable of. I like this amp (update) after buying a second one, I'm very impressed. The first was good enough, but the second is even better."

"Sound Storm is Amazing I have only had the Amp (ssl ev4000d) for 3 days now but it is Amazing. i have never had an amp that doesn't heat up but after an hour of pounding the thing it is cool to the touch , my old Lanzar would have shut down and scorched your hand after about 10 minutes of my abuse. quite possibly the best amp i have ever owned and for 109.00 its worth double . I still have no clue how the workers at Sound Storm developed an amp that doesn't heat up . at all !! and thanks for all the reviews before i bought it i read them all . and yes i was a bit skeptical iv'e been burned before . but the amp is everything yall said and so much more.. Thank-you sound storm and the people that gave an honest and great reviews.. BTW its a shame my neighbors wouldn't agree how great my new amp is . after 3 months its still Amazing best amp i have ever had. for the money its a steal."

"Great amp for the price. Awesome amp. Have it hooked up to 2 Kentwood 12's with no problems at all. Actually worried that it could blow them lol. And compared to the amp I had before. It blows it out the water. Sound quality is great. The type of bass you would like to hear. Clear. Not distorted. No extra noise coming out of the subs besides bass once I dialed it in. For 118 bucks. It's not a bad buy. I ride around with my music pretty loud and it's held up well. No cut outs in hot Louisiana weather (it's also in my trunk). I'd say for the price it's not bad at all. If it last a year or two. It's a good amp and buy in my eyes."

You definitely get what you pay for! The product is great and functions so well, im powering 2 kicker cvr 15’s in a 2013 Chrylser 200, and it bangs! BUT... know that you may need a capacitor or extra battery because it may get hot, and also know that SSL does not run true to what it says. It says 4000, but it really may only be about 1500 to 2000.

"Flat out raw power!!! Flat out raw power.. I have been selling and installing 12volt for over 13 years... This amp out shines other high dollar amps.. I have this amp in my suburban with a 3 farad cap pushing 3 pioneer champion dvc 12's @2.67ohms and it beats so hard.... I'm just sayin.. dosent even get warm.."

"I have had 3 of these. Not because any of them blew. But because I've used them in just about every subwoofer project I've done for the last 6 years. The amp is small but still pounds. I've used it to push a single 10. A pair of 10s. A pair of 12s and a single 15. Never been let down. When the performance is combined with the price it can't be beat. This is my favorite amp for subwoofers. "

Can't beat it for the price.. I previously had a Power Acoustik 2500.1D and it wasn't doing the job for my single Skar svr-12 but this SSL 4000 brought it to life??.. Its in my work truck so only got a couple hours play time but so far so good, I'd recommend this for anybody looking for a good quality but affordable amp..
