  "Complete range Boss 4 inch for 1999 Porsche 911 I've been around car audio since I was a teenager (late 1980s), and I recall the Boss brand being on the lower end of the output spectrum. All I can tell now is that they've come a long way!!! (I'm a Rockford Fosgate and Alpine guy by trade) I bought two sets of 4 inch full range speakers to replace my Porsche 911's dash and rear speakers, and WOW, they sound amazing!! I also bought some 5 1/4 door speakers for the 911, which I adore!! Now the car sounds fantastic!! The seller comes highly recommended! Shipping was prompt and effective!!"

  Direct bolt in for stock GM speakers. Mount tabs line up with factory attached wires using Metra adapters took all of 10 minutes to swap them. They sound good. Are a real good match for the $20 Boss stereo I put in my old mostly off road Suburban. They even look good behind the factory speaker grills.

  Needed new rear speakers for Suburban after the OEM started rattling. These don't sound that great, but the whole sound system in the vehicle is original. These work, have decent bass, and don't have any odd sounds.

  "i cant really complain too much being that these are boss speakers, but it kinda bothers me that one of the speakers has taut wires running from the woofer cone to the mid and tweeter. it doesn't seem to affect the sound quality, just kinda sits wrong with my ocd. but beyond my nit picking great speakers. good sound for cheap, and it came with a cutout template so you know what size hole to cut if you have to. i liked that. will probably end up buying more in the future if my truck proves to be worth expansion and not just upgrade "

  Had to use a spacer to drop it down some to keep the mid/tweeter assembly from hitting the metal speaker piece that runs from front to back in my 1985 Monte Carlo SS. Otherwise than that they are great and were easy to install.

  "work really really well considering the price and were a breeze to install, I have a jeep so I had to buy some separate mounting brackets, other than that everything was super simple. Thanks for making a great affordable product Boss Audio I also bought a set of their marine boat speakers for my overhead sound bar in my jeep (waterproof, that's why I chose them) and they work amazing as well."

  I used these to replace the front dash speakers in an Olds Cutlass Ciera. They fit perfectly and sound very good for their size. I noticed another review on here had incorrectly stated that the size was wrong. The 3.5" measurement is the cone diameter , not the mounting centers. This is the way all raw speaker components are measured.

  I bought this speaker for my 1966 convertible mustang. When I got the car, it had the original paper cone speaker...I bought a specialty speaker at a show to replace it, but I had to deconstruct it to make it fit. Being a convertible, I need a speaker that is going to be loud enough to be heard over road noise. My first one, not so much. This fits the bill beautifully, and I am thrilled to find a speaker that I do not have to completely modify to make it fit. On top of that, the sound quality far exceeds expectations.

  "Good for the money. Have been using them for over a couple years now and they still work great. They sound ok and for the price they seem right on for what I was expecting. Not a lot of bass but they don't distort once tuned properly on the head unit. They are doing great. "

  Decent speakers for the price but did not directly fit my square body S-10. Required quite a bit of modification to the metal around the speakers including cutting, washers, spacers, and glue. Also had to force them into the dash after- magnets are quite a bit bigger than stock.

  "Work well! I installed them in my 94 full size blazer and they work great however they are hooked to the stock stereo so I can’t really say how well the base is because the stereo doesn’t put out a lot of watts to the speakers "

  The sound great. Was looking for cheap speakers and these worked out perfect. They’re a little big for the 1992 Toyota Corolla on the drivers side dash, but I was able to get it to fit.

  They work very well for what they are. They've been pretty durable and the sound is better than I expected. If you're looking for low end, I suggest something else. I just added a simple sub woofer setup to the system and it sounds fine.

  "The price was a factor in my decision. For me, the reviews are mostly correct; these speakers lack low end (bass), but I wasn't searching for low end because I already have two other speakers that can handle it. I was simply searching for a replacement for my older, broken speakers, which these do. They aren't the best you can find, but they serve a purpose. These are something I would recommend to everyone."
