"substitute for the Bose 143443 P. Initial component #143443 P was used to replace the woofer in our old Bose Acustimass that we purchased in 1995. The bolt pattern also lined up perfectly. Only the fiber mounting of Blaupunkt pad/insulator from the old speaker was moved to the new one."

Decent subwoofer for the $$$. I put 8 of these in a transmission line enclosure, powered by 1200 watts. They get LOUD....I'm definitely not disappointed

"My sub blew after about 3 months of using it. The sound quality was pretty good when it worked. I had replaced my previous Planet Audio 8in sub with this one. This one sounded much better than the Planet Audio. I gave up on 8 inch subs and went with a Kicker 12 inch. BIG sound difference. Spend the extra money on a 12 inch. There's not a big price difference and the space savings are almost non existent. "

This is an amazingly great sounding little subwoofer. Handles power very well and gets loud. Works well in very small ported or sealed boxes. Sounds so good that I added a second one. Out performs some of the more popular name brands. If you’re working with just a little bit of space for a sub...this will definitely fit the bill.

"Sounds good. I replaced my Challenger's factor 8 inch subwoofer with this one as a cheap alternative and it sounds good. It is being powered off the factory amp so its not super loud but my car stereo has a nice rich bass tone to it. "

Used to replace the woofer in our old Bose Acustimass that we bought in 1995, original part #143443 P. Perfect fit, even the bolt pattern lined up. We only transferred the fiber mounting pad/insulator from the old speaker to the new one.

Blaupunkt disappoints. Paired this with a Blaupunkt amp and proper box and speaker froze after 3 months. replaced it with a Kicker and still going strong. You get what you pay for when its cheap.

"I had to make a special mounting to fit original place in my Lexus. Quality of build and sound quality is really good. High volumes not needed, but adds the perfect amount of bass to the rest of the system. Although I use it on low pass filter, I have tried it full range and it also performed very well."
