Nice features and rock solid stability are combined in the Caldwell Matrix Shooting Rest. The revolutionary, ultra rigid u-channel frame easily changes in length for almost any weapon to match perfectly, while staying fully stable as well. An open center channel with extra clearance for magazines and lever action arms is built into the 2-piece sliding frame. This rest also has a spacious storage area built into the front of the base that includes a removable lid that, when removed, adds extra clearance, but also provides a rubberized rear support surface when left in place for firing handguns. For firing both long guns and handguns, the Matrix Shooting Rest is outstanding.
