it's a very good product
For the money, this is one of the best amplifiers Reviewed in the united states, indiana Thank you for the excellent Class D amplifier for my woofer and speaker, which arrived swiftly. Thanks for first shipping
This is a good substitution because it adds a lot of treble while taking away a lot of the midrange. These are fantastic speakers. I purchased the 3.5" and mounted them in my 1998 Sebring with no problems. The tweeter protrudes half an inch from the speaker's end. You should know that I used to have a competition stereo when I was much younger, in my 20s. Not bass, but sound quality was my priority. The capability of these speakers is excellent. I'll try to describe what you're hearing... You will note a significant change in sound when replacing a pair of worn-out paper cone speakers.
Planet Audio TRQ522 5.25 Inch Car Speakers Unfortunately I purchased the wrong size and had to return them, but the speakers looked nice.
Great value if powered correctly planet audio ac1500.1m. Amazing for the price. Using an alpine 4 channel to power them. They sound fantastic with 100 watts going to each. I blew my 6” hybrid 602 morels components, which were no longer under warranty, and these put up a good fight. We now have more bass (ranging from 6.5” to 6x9), but we saved $600 by using these. (I'll never buy a high-end car stereo system again.) We'll have to see how long they last. It's been just a week. The morals were in place for a little more than two years. If driven properly, it's well worth the cost. The three-year warranty is unbeatable. Try finding that with some other company. You are not going to do so.
Better than factory What can I say. planet audio vehicle audio work. Doesn't sound the best but better than 30 year factory speakers. They did fit right in to my 88 suburban with out any mods.
Sound quality is clear planet audio vehicle audio Not bad for price. Crystal clear and replace out easily with my dash speakers.
Nice buy Pretty decent quality for the price. Took one star off because in my SAAB 9-3, the speaker’s tweeter pushes up the plastic escutcheon. Pretty cool they provide speaker cables.
You get what you pay for I originally only installed one bug last week I installed the second planet audio speaker and it only lasted 2 days before it blew. I'm not sure what caused it to blow because my vehicle audio music was not up very loud. I'm pretty disappointed that I now only have one working speaker in my dash. I will not order this brand again.
Good sound planet audio, vehicle audio Good little speakers
Great Speakers Style: 5x7 Inch Speakers If you had not purchased these speakers yet, not sure what you are waiting for... Replaced All My Stock Bose Speakers in my 05 Mazda 3. planet audio vehicle audio Will purchase again.
I replaced my old blown out skar audio tweeters with these. Style: 3.5 Inch Speakers I replaced my old blown out tweeters with these. I didn't know it would sound soooo much nice! SO NICE!
Little planet audio speakers give you little sound. Get what you pay for. Style: 4x6 Inch Speakers Great vehicle audio clarity. Just wish i would have bought bigger ones. Doesn't get quite oud enough for me.
Fits perfect in my car 1999 Yukon. planet audio car speakers fit perfectly in the back of a 1999 Yukon with no issues or modifications.
Good quality car speakers for the price, and fits just like OEM. These planet audio speakers seem to be of good quality considering the price. The workmanship was good, and they felt solidly constructed.
This is a fantastic upgrade from stock. These speakers are just the best you could hope for at this price point. Of course, they aren't as good as JBL, Infinity, or any other top-of-the-line speakers, and no one would expect them to be. I purchased these to replace the stock speakers in my 2002 Chevy S 10 and was blown away by the difference. The highs were bright and crisp, and the bass was fairly tight. The sound quality improved even further after I added a sub and guided the bass away from these speakers. If you don't have a large budget, these are the best option for replacing your stock speakers.
Excellent value for money I bought these to replace an old pair of speakers in my car that I was about to sell. They are Sound Storm EX369 300 Watt (Per Pair), 6 x 9 Inch, Full Range, 3 Way Car Speakers (Sold in Pairs). They appear to be well built and sound decent for the money, but they might be better if I had an external amp to drive them.
Exceptional speakers. Great speakers, and they were powered by the radio, so they didn't need a lot of power. Anyone who claims otherwise is either installing incorrectly or doesn't know what they're talking about.
Will buy sound storm again soon for my car These things sound good on my boat unbelievable how good they sound for the price appearance is good as well would add pic but I won't give any apps permission to my pics I have a 1400 watt system that really needed mid/highs replaced perfect my boat is my pride n joy.
Best Beat for your money! I just got these to replace blown ones in a vehicle I was selling, I ended up ordering more. You can't beat the sound storm price or find any better in this price range.
cheap price sound strom car speaker and good quality i installed sound strom in door panels on my 97 Altima. not quite the right fit for factory replacement but good enough and did not affect the sound quality. they may fit better on another car. good sound quality, nice bass, no complaints here.
sound storm for Occasionally use Installed in a 07 fj was hard but sounded good on warm up it was a girlfriend of mines car so I’m not in regular just like her but it sounds okay occasionally
do not purchase!! One of the speakers had exploded, and the one that was still working sounded awful... make sure you don't waste Your Time!! do not buy if you cant afford sound storm to pay a little more and get good quality sound.
very good quality sound storm car speakers for the price these speakers sound very good and i didn't think they would sound as well as they do. they are full 3 way and the sound is very crisp and clear. they are great for listening to good quality music.
No boom boom with sound storm , but decent quality speakers. this speaker is Not the best one, but it gets the job done and that's all the matters.
this product did not perfect for my door speakers. Check specifications before ordering. Sound was pretty decent!!! Delivery was fast!!
These are something I'd buy again. Sound Storm Laboratories is a favorite of mine, particularly when compared to other new "name brand" sound equipment. I'm sure you won't find another package for the price that sounds as amazing as these. These were used to repair water-damaged rear speakers in a 2010 crew cab. After changing the fade a little, they blend in nicely with the front speakers.
The wattage isn't up to par with what's advertised Sound quality is good, but Probably not living up to the wattage ratings, I have it attached to just my stereo at 45 watts per channel and it sounds like nothing turned up, was hoping to put an amplifier on them but that won't work!
astonished with sound storm car audio system I wasn't expecting such good sound quality for the price. I had never heard of this brand before, but I took a chance and they sound fantastic! Far better than the stock option. Highs are crisp, and lows are reasonable. You won't win any awards, but if you want to jazz up your factory stereo, these will suffice.
There's no bass here, but there's a slight hint of a kick. Place them in my ship. Because of the sound storm low prices speaker, I was worried about the sound, but I was blown away. On the low end, there is a slight kick. It might not be enough for bass heads, but it doesn't make the sound sound hollow or tinny.
Weak build quality despite good sound The surround wasn't properly glued to the frame, but it otherwise sounded great.
With a warehouse discount, you can get crisp, flat highs and midrange. Polk audio speakers have long been a favorite of mine. When I bought a used car, I decided to replace the door speakers with Polk devices, which I found on TREASURE POINT for a reasonable price. Despite the fact that this was a warehouse sale, there was no apparent damage. The speakers have been mounted and are performing as intended, i.e., they produce excellent highs and midrange with a reasonable amount of bass, which is exactly what I wanted. This was made even more appealing by the extra discount from the warehouse contract. This is an item that I will buy again.

That sounds fantastic. I'm going to put these in my fishing boat. With a "non-high powered" head unit, the sound is clear and noisy. Since these are slim mount speakers, I was worried about the bass quality. There's no need to be concerned because the mounting on the inside of the boat shell ensures plenty of bass. Suggestion to the manufacturer: provide a more secure cover because, although these are stylish, fishing boats are cramped spaces where anything might easily poke through the open spaces in the given covers and harm the cone.
My 2015 Honda Goldwing GL1800 40th Anniversary - ABS/Navi/Premium Audio will not suit. And after a lot of speaker trimming and tweaking. I should have checked them first before trimming because the sound quality was nowhere near that of my factory package. I squandered both time and money. I hope this study has been of assistance to you. Owners of Goldwings with the Premium Audio Option should be aware that their factory package is already performing admirably!
I spent $1100 on a pair of Illusion audio carbon speakers for the front of my car and these Polk audio speakers for the back. Let me tell you, these speakers are a force to be reckoned with. I didn't attach the Polks to an amp; instead, I'm using them for sound quality and a 3D effect with the music. It was a fantastic purchase, and I'm glad I went with these speakers; they're fantastic! If you have an amp, you won't be able to drive them too far. I simply increased the gain on my front speakers, resulting in the perfect combination of front and rear speakers!
These were purchased to replace the door speakers in my Honda S2000, and they match perfectly. It sounds a thousand times better. I didn't mess around with tweeters; they were perfect as they were. Upgraded the radio to a Sony Digital Media player, which means no more CDs to carry around and lose! I can now transport my entire music collection in my car. With this setup, I don't need an amp. And with the top down, these sound fantastic. The low, mid, and high ranges have all greatly improved. The bass is now thumping the doors and chairs! Get these when they're still available for $50 less than anywhere else on the internet. I have purchased Honda speaker adapter harnesses separately from treasure point for quick swapping. Fed Ex was used to ship the item, and it arrived ahead of schedule.
These Polks audio are ideal for the Jeep Wrangler and fit perfectly within the SSV Kick Panels, which are also available on TREASURE POINT. They aren't completely marine rated, but the cones aren't paper, so they should be able to withstand some dampness if water gets into the Jeep's floor (which is always a possibility), and they offer plenty of mid-range and upper-range output. The bass isn't great, but for a 6.5-inch low-profile speaker, it's adequate, and the foot well mounting location where I have mine allows for plenty of enclosed air space to help improve the low-end sound. Because of the minor underperformance on bass response, I can't quite award these five stars. They do, however, work well for the purpose I had in mind.
The order arrived on time and in perfect condition. These suits my 2000 Honda Insight perfectly, even though I won't need the 'boy racer' covers. To get them electrically attached, we had to de-solder a connector (as expected), but they physically match where the OEM speakers go in the doors. Except for the soldering, it was an easy task. It's fantastic to have good sound in my car!
These suits my Dodge Ram 1500 SLT Big Horn Edition Quad Cab from 2006 perfectly. My stock speakers had an excessive amount of bass. There is more midrange and treble in these, but not as much bass. I'm sure it would sound better if I connected it to an amplifier. The head unit was replaced with a Kenwood KVT-516, which has an RMS power of 22 watts. The stock speakers I got were rated at 15 watts each. This is a more powerful speaker. I removed a 5 1/4" speaker and replaced it with a 6 1/2" speaker. It was tight, but it fit without any alterations. My old speakers had screws holding them in place, while the new speakers had four holes. Just three screws were used (did not take the time to drill a new hole and search for a screw). It is healthy, and I am not concerned.
Polk has long been one of my favorite brands for OEM replacement speakers, and these are no exception. The Alpine head unit with the inline booster amp is the source of power. It sounds fantastic, particularly for the price. I can't wait to finish the build with a high pass crossover and a better amp to get a better mid bass sound. Into the back deck of a 2001 Civic Sedan. With just one factory hole, it can match without an adapter. To clamp two more holes to the back deck, use the provided metal clips and some 8/32 screw and nuts. It's braced by triangulation and appears to be sturdy enough.
My 2009 Pontiac G8 GT had a blown rear door oem speaker. I decided to update the pair because I was in the market for new ones anyway. There is a significant difference. Crisp, clear treble, as well as a strong midrange. Factory speakers are dismally bad....basically paper that simply degrades over time. Anyone looking to replace factory 6.5" speakers should consider these speakers. You will not be dissatisfied.
For a few days, I lent my 2011 Silverado to a neighbor. When I got it back, one of the rear speakers had been blown out. It irritated me, but no good deed is ever unpunished. So I asked Crutchfield what I should put in, and they suggested the Polk Audio slim mounts. Since their website was a pain to use, I looked them up on TREASURE POINT and found a better deal. I couldn't believe how much better they sounded than the stock speakers after I built them. I'm thinking about replacing the front speakers as well!
Polk Audio has long been a favorite of mine, and these speakers do not disappoint. They have a really clean, crisp sound to them. Of course, the bass is missing, but it's better than I thought. Bass is, after all, reserved for subwoofers. The treble was a little brash at first, but it was easily handled with the head device. Overall, Polk Audio has produced yet another high-quality product. They're a million times better than the stock speakers they replaced. Your ears will thank you as well!
For the price, these are good speakers. The bass is solid, the mids are crisp, and the treble is simple. I've got them fuelled by an Alpine micro amp that puts out 50 watts per speaker. Unfortunately, one of them is now making a cracking noise. The only drawback to these speakers is their lack of longevity. I do, however, listen to music very loudly.
I bought a used car and one of the speakers was producing low, shaky sound. I replaced the speaker with a similar one, and it works perfectly. The cause of the speaker's failure is unknown, but the replacement is working perfectly. I'm glad I bought these speakers.
Almost as good as most 3 ways my kenwoods I took out weren't as good they were 60 bucks these 25 so you can't go wrong bigger magnet better spk weights around three times kenwood 3 way 6by9. Put on a bigger amp, about 180 watts rms, b4 around 50 watts.
These were mounted in the rear deck of a 2003 Hyundai Elantra sedan. They sounded just slightly better than the factory speakers until I added an amp. They sound incredible after being amplified (Rockville RXA-F1). Make sure you give them enough strength, and they won't let you down. They came with their own speaker cable, which amazed me, but it is incredibly small. It appears to be 16 or 18 gauge wire on the outside, but the wire inside is 24 gauge. I would not suggest using the supplied wire and instead opt for a different speaker wire, preferably true 16 gauge.
My go-to brand for stock and competition upgrades is Autotek. These speakers fit perfectly into the oem hole and were secured with stock screws. As compared to stock speakers, the sound quality is night and day. To hear your favorite songs, you'll want to crank up the volume. To reach their full potential, these speakers need more RMS power than your stock radio can provide (NON AMPLIFIED STOCK SYSTEMS). If you listen at a moderate volume with 35-45 percent capacity, you're in luck. If you're like me and want to crank up the volume past 50% (SEE YOUR REAR VIEW MIRROR SHAKE), you'll need a four-channel amp with 50 to 75 Watts RMS per channel to feed these power hungry speakers.
Superb Sound Quality, Surprisingly! I installed these into the rear deck 2003 Hyundai Elantra sedan. Before I installed an amp, they sounded only a but better than the factory speakers. After putting an amp(Rockville RXA-F1), they sound unbelievable. Make sure you supply them with the right power and they won't disappoint.
For stock and competition upgrades, I've always relied on Autotek. These speakers fit perfectly into the oem hole and were secured with stock screws. As compared to stock speakers, the sound quality is night and day. To hear your favorite songs, you'll want to crank up the volume. To reach their full potential, these speakers need more RMS power than your stock radio can provide (ESPECIALLY NON AMPLIFIED STOCK SYSTEMS). If you listen at a moderate volume with 35-45 percent capacity, you're in luck.
Let me be very clear, I upgraded to these from a pair of budget BOSS 3 ways, and I have them on a cheap Chinese radio putting out hardly any wattage to 3 additional speakers. However, these speakers don't care about your specs, they just want to play. Amazing sound for the price, holds wattage and clarity in upper end of volume level, but there's no reason to turn them up. They are simply great.
Basic speakers that are excellent. In my Xterra, I replaced the factory speakers. I wasn't looking for hi-fi because the audio system was still bad. For quite some time, these have been perfectly functional. If you know how to remove the door cover, it's a simple task to complete. Save the old connectors and attach them to the new speakers with splices. The speakers were inside the doors, so I didn't need the face protectors.
it is very good... i like it Just as good as most 3 ways my kenwoods i took out not as good they are 60 bucks these 25 so cant go wrong bigger magnet better spk weighs bout 3 times kenwood 3 way 6by9.put on bigger amp holding bout 180 watts rms b4 bout 50 watts wow these spkrs rock hard for 30 bucks not shallow mount tho
One of these speakers was blown from the factory, so I mounted it in my car with a stock deck. Spend a little more money and get better quality, in my opinion. Now I have to disassemble the whole back end of my car in order to remove and repair it.
Boom boom who is the best Autotek vs Kenwood I bought two pairs of 6x9 I did try both and surprise Autotek sounds to much better than Kenwood unbelievable Autotek good price and quality sound
Let's just say they sound great, and if you pair them with a tiny 300w full-range amp, they're loud and have strong bass. They are certainly worth the money for the price. YOU Would NOT BE DISAPPOINTED IF YOU PURCHASE THEM. In a 1999 Pontiac Grand AM, I had them built.
Good speakers sound quality is pretty good.
Really good speakers for the back of my Road Runner
They sound great for the price can't tell the difference between the more expensive ones
Now is the time to purchase it. Excellent speakers! I purchased a package of Autotek speakers, which are far superior to my factory setup. They even throw in some close and punchy low-end bass.
To be clear, I upgraded from a pair of budget BOSS 3 ways, and I'm using them with a cheap Chinese radio that only puts out a few watts to three additional speakers. These speakers, on the other hand, are unconcerned about your specifications and simply want to play. Amazing sound for the price, maintains wattage and clarity at higher volume levels, but there's no need to crank them up. They're absolutely fantastic.
"Basic speakers that are excellent. In my Xterra, I replaced the factory speakers. I wasn't looking for hi-fi because the audio system was still bad. For quite some time, these have been perfectly functional. If you know how to remove the door cover, it's a simple task to complete. Seriously, not bad. I bought these to replace factory speakers so I could sell my car. Honda Accord. These aren't great but sound decent. Better than I thought they would be.
It's just 32 dollars for four people, and the sound is incredible. I used them to listen to some of the bass booster mixes on YouTube, and I have to say that for a three-way mic, they sound fantastic on heavy bass. Anything else has a crisp, simple sound and is very loud. On a PA 1000 Anarchy amp, running at 2 ohm.
These were purchased to replace the worn out factory speakers. At first, they didn't sound awful for cheap speakers. Two weeks have passed since the due date, and one has absolutely stopped working, while the other is barely audible. What you pay for is what you get.
I bought two of these to replace the factory speakers in my 2003 Tahoe. The front and back doors needed new mounting holes, but they were otherwise simple to install. These are fine budget speakers that work well with the Pioneer FH-X730BS stereo.
Good speakers for the price. Do not buy them thinking they are going to perform like an expensive brand speaker. They are a nice, but simple, upgrade from stock.
Really good speakers. They are loud, crisp and clear, the bass is alright, they are good for mids. If you want bass then get component speakers.
"These speakers are great. Especially for their price. I installed them in my car and it made a huge difference from the factory speakers. Very punchy. "
this autotek speakers Sound is very good no issues
These things sounded way better than expected, defiantly worth the money.
"I bought these to replace the busted/dry rotted speakers on a Silverado. Perfect fit without the covers, of course, easy to install, and the sound is great. Of course you don’t get the heart pounding bass, but if you look at the watts on it, They aren’t mad for that! Great product for the money. "
"reproduces all the sound my seventy-year-old ears can hear, at a bargain price! easy replacement for my mercedes SL320 door speakers. "
very good autotek sound speaker
"Strong than past one These were purchased to replace my stock Grand Prix speakers. The setup was simple and convenient. With 50 watts peak from the factory head unit, the sound is significantly better than stock. The highs and mids sound fantastic; the bass, on the other hand, is a little underpowered, but I'm sure a 100w amp will remedy that. Overall, you get a lot of bang for your buck."
These were bought on September 20th, 2019. They've been mounted on the back of a truck. A Pioneer head unit pushed the button. Both speakers are blo0wn and deliver 45 watts RMS. One of them is no longer making any noise. These are not at all worth the money. Do not squander your time.
Tweeter portion was detached from the speaker face when received. Applied some super glue and placed it back in place but never sounded right.
They accidentally sent the wrong size, but they quickly corrected it and sent the correct size. If you're looking for a speaker that can work in tight spaces, look no further. This concludes the discussion.
Sound great. Put them in my Fairing on my motorcycle. CAUTION! All the center cones came off. ALL FOUR SPEAKERS. I had to superglue them back. Very hard to get them lined up to look factory. Since all four came loose, it seems like a flaw. Other than that, they sound great.
Bought a set of these Blaupunkt 5 1/4 and a set of 5 x 7s as a gift for son's Ranger Truck. Sound was decent and better than the old worn out stock but we didnt really wake them up until we added a small 4 x 25w amp to them. For the price well worth it but..... dont forget the amp!
for the price you get what you pay for.
Looks great, sounds great
Excellent speakers for the price!
I hace a 1987 dodge dakota and these things make it rock
Good buy I have a Brisbane blaupunkt radio so wanted speakers to match very nice
sound is good, but the height of the tweeter rubs against the speaker frame of the door
Accidentally sent their own size but immediately corrected and sent the right size If you need a speaker that fits some tight places This is it
Not bad . Bass response is a bit weak but overall a decent speaker.
it is good. i like it... i think people should try it
"Better than OEM in terms of value for money. Excellent pionear speakers, particularly considering the price. They sound much better than the factory rear speakers in my 2003 Chevrolet, and they weren't prohibitively expensive. I will buy these speakers again in a heartbeat."
The peaks and mids are fantastic, but the lows are missing. However, for $27, it is an excellent value with good tone. They're in my Prius, which has a low-powered stick stereo. It strengthened the sound's presence by wrapping it around the driver. These are good for a 25 watt per channel device. I will never operate them at more than their RMS of 40 watts just by looking at them. They're far too light to handle more than 300 watts of power. That, I believe, is why some of the negative reviews appear: people using these speakers as high-wattage speakers.
These don't have great sound quality, but they're better than stock.
Llego antes de tiempo y en perfecto estado, todo sellado y suenan muy bien. La paquetería no da número de rastreo pero me dieron tiempo estimado de entrega 5 días y llego al día 2. Muy bien
The two-way speaker has a mica-treated polypropylene woofer and a polyethylene tweeter. This results in a good low and mid-range, as well as strong but not too bright highs. It's rated for 35 watts per channel, but I drove with a 25 watt head unit and they sounded clear and tight before the head unit clipped well below the speakers' capability. I combined this setup with a trunk-mounted sealed sub box and an external amp, and found that these two methods provided more than enough low frequency range for a budget set-up.
Great quality speakers! Crisp, clear, quality sound. Pioneer still makes great products. Used these in a 1997 Geo Prizm/ Toyota Corolla.
It outperformed my 20-year-old factory speakers in terms of sound quality. I'm head over heels in lust. It has some bass but not much, so I suggest using it in conjunction with a subwoofer.
For the money, it appears to be a good deal. I purchased two sets, one of which was blown. I'm in the process of replacing that one. What you need are two-way speakers. Especially if you have a subwoofer in the back, as I do. The selection and consistency are excellent. I'm going to stick with pioneer.
If you're looking for "better" speakers, I'd recommend looking for another pair. I purchased these to replace two busted factory speakers in my 2007 Honda Civic Hybrid in the hopes of getting a better sound and possibly more bass. However, this was not the case. My factories were more effective. I had one door and one rear door down, but instead of doing a complete replacement to fit them up, I only replaced them with these. They sound great when combined with my old factory speakers. I wouldn't use them as my only speakers because I prefer bass. It is not the fault of the speakers that they do not have more. The audio quality is excellent. I didn't expect much because they were so inexpensive.
Replace the original super-roached-out audiovox speakers that had nearly frozen in an RV's dashboard with a pair of these. There are several mounting options, they were simple to install, and they sound great for the price. They have excellent low end thanks to my installation, which provided them with a lot of cabinet air space. Maybe a little light in the lows, but that's almost definitely due to the large cabinet and straight-up firing I'm forced to use in my RV; these should sound fantastic in doors or on back decks.
These speakers went beyond and beyond my standards. For my stock replacement scenario, I wasn't expecting a super premium sound experience. These speakers are a significant upgrade over the originals. Since the system is only powered by the stock head unit, the bass isn't particularly effective, but the midrange sounds crisp, and the tweeter performs admirably without being tinny. Keep your expectations in check, and you'll have a good time with these speakers.
These two speakers were mounted on the front doors of my 1998 Jeep Cherokee. Similar speakers had already been mounted in the rear cargo area by the previous owner. My driver's side speaker was also not working, which I discovered was due to a broken cable. To have a full collection of Pioneer Speakers in my Jeep, I wanted to replace the speakers.
This collection of speakers is ideal for use with the factory radio. I bought four of them to replace my Ford Focus's worn-out factory speakers. The best thing about these is that they can be powered by the factory radio amp due to their low nominal power level and high sensitivity. There are certainly better speakers on the market, but not at this price point.
I bought them for my toyota corolla 2002 and the sound is different as heaven and hell, but default installation screws didn't work out. But overall - great thing!
Excellent value for money, excellent stock replacement, and simple installation on my VW 2015 Passat. The sound quality is much superior to that of the stock speakers!
"It's preferable to polks audio. They were bought to replace the front dash speakers on a 2019 Jeep Wrangler and are well worth the money. I even bought some polks, which sounded much better than the polks. I was curious to see which one I would return. These 3.5's will fit in the front, but not on the sound bar on top of your head due to the magnet's size. The polks, on the other hand, were a perfect match. The tweeter simply rubs against the plastic grill cover. "
When it came to upgrading my stock 2013 CX5 Sport stereo system, this was the best money I spent. The addition of these to the dash made a huge improvement in the clarity of Bluetooth phone calls. The addition of these to the dash was the best upgrade of all. I finally updated my door speakers and installed a subwoofer, but the addition of these to the dash was the best upgrade of all.
I ended up buying two sets of these little guys to replace the speakers in an old mid-century modern vinyl cabinet. I really didn't expect the amount of sound these little guys produced (I have four of them, so that might help)...but man, they sound fantastic in the cabinet when combined with some cheap 12" woofers I purchased. Price/performance/quality ratio is excellent.
I wanted to replace the dash speakers in a 2001 Saab 9-3 and didn't want to spend a lot because they were only going to be driven by a Kenwood head unit. In reality, I felt compelled to spend as little money as possible. I chose these because I have a long and supportive relationship with Pioneer, and because Saab is a GM company, I thought "specialty fit for GM vehicles" was a plus. They went right in without a hitch and, to my delight, sound fantastic. Don't get me wrong: these are 3.5" speakers with 14 powerful RMS watts, but I was impressed when compared to other 3.5" speakers powered by simple head units. They're making the most of the adorable little amp!
"I bought these for use in a home-brew battery powered bluetooth stereo-in-a-suitcase for near-field listening to music on my laptop computer which has particularly anemic built-in speakers. The treble of these Pioneer speakers is quite good, and bass in a fairly well sealed solid box is impressive for the size of the speaker. Listening to ""Mother Nature's Son"" from the Beatles Anthology 3 CD, the imaging was excellent - the speakers ""disappeared"" acoustically. I was planning to add a down-firing 6-8 inch woofer/subwoofer to the box, but boosting the bass a bit in iTunes led to a surprisingly clean, deep bass that has led me to abandon the subwoofer idea. With the 64Hz boosted at 6dB and the 32 at 12dB, the overall frequency response sounded surprisingly flat. "
These speakers sound fantastic, but they need some modification to fit in a 1985 Monte Carlo SS. It took a long time to complete the installation. I had to solder the speaker wires to the speaker connectors rather than using the supplied connectors because the connectors would not clear the dash opening; even with the factory speakers, it's a tight fit. Six washers were also needed to keep the speaker grille from crushing the speaker face. They're not the perfect match, but if you get creative, they'll work.
I have a 2007 Nissan Altima and wish I could be more enthusiastic with these speakers in my dash, with the stock non-Bose system. Installation was a "if I had to do it all over again I would just leave what was there" ordeal. Now installed, these do bring slightly more presence up front but definitely not the treble that I was expecting and what justified me buying these. It almost seems like the tweeters are MIA: as I cover the tweeters with my hand back and forth I just could not hear much output at all. I really do question the tweeters and see that there is no visible magnet either like other pioneer car tweeters I had in the past. I have nothing but praise for the solid woofer and rubber surrounds on these little speakers. It is amazing how they also make plastic frames for these that you have to look twice at to make sure as they can almost pass for die-cast alloy. No grills are included as they typically are mounted behind the existing dash grills. Speaker wire and mounting hardware are included but you typically use the existing when you make the swap with the OEM.
These were purchased for a 1996 Miata that lacked factory-installed speakers and headrest cutouts. Since these were not available, I created my own wiring harnesses. Oh my goodness!! I can't believe how different the sounds are! I can now clearly hear my radio, which I couldn't before. I normally don't play music loudly out of respect for others, but with these, I can avoid distracting others while still listening at a comfortable volume. I'd like to express my gratitude to the producer.
A previous owner had installed some terrible dash speakers in my SAAB 9-3. Pioneer coaxials have always sounded fairly normal to me while still being reasonably priced. When I first mounted them, they were downright rough, as shown by testing with a tuned mic (+6dB from 5K and up), and midbass was rolling off at 120hz, which was less shocking. I had to fade the sound to the stock rear speakers just to tolerate them because the brightness was too distracting. They did, however, break in beautifully, and each speaker now does an honest +/- 3dB from 90hz to 20KHz.
Excellent option for replacing the front speakers. I used them as dash speaker replacements in a 1985 Chevrolet C-10, and they matched perfectly. To help minimize air space behind the speaker and boost sound quality, I installed them with small round food storage containers underneath them. I'm not sure how useful it is, but it's simple to undo. Definitely superior to 30+ year old paper factory speakers!
The package arrived in good shape. I purchased them to replace the speakers in the D pillar of a 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe LT, but I had to modify them because they were slightly larger and deeper than the stock speaker. Once I got past that, they were actually a pretty good sounding speaker.
On my 2013 Chrysler 300 with the Beats audio system, I used these to replace the dash and rear door speakers. The dash fit fine, but the mounting ears on the back doors had to be slightly clipped (ears are plastic). The sensitivity was almost identical to the original speakers, but the high end is much smoother and more extended. I can't comment on the bass output because my machine routes bass below 100Hz elsewhere, but I wouldn't expect much from this scale anyway. The soundstage is much better than the stock speakers, and the bass drivers fit in much better. Overall, I am very happy with these speakers' results and would strongly recommend them.
For the price, these are excellent speakers. My seat headrest speakers were upgraded, and these are just what I needed. They have excellent all-around sound and are very noisy. I'd buy these again in a heartbeat.
The Highlander's factory dash holes are precisely aligned. Either buy a Tacotunes harness or tinker with the factory ones. It won't work in a 2019 Toyota 4runner. The sound quality is superior to stock, with a much cleaner top end. Job on the $35-40 range.
I used 600hz high pass filters so the bass wouldn't blast them out - decent sound reproduction for front speakers in a regular car system Bass sounds are not well served by 3 1/2" speakers.
"These Hifonics speakers are fantastic, and the price is unbeatable. What should I do first? You won't find a pair of 3.5 speakers for this price anywhere. To say nothing of a pair that sounds this sweet. Pyle is possibly the nearest, but these are much superior. The build is good, and the sound is fantastic. I make Bluetooth speakers and am always on the lookout for new drivers. These are quickly disassembled for use as separates. INSANE TO PAY FOUR DOLLARS EACH. I bought 8 pairs of these and will most likely buy another ten."
These were purchased to replace the other speakers in the front deck of my Toyota FJ. These speakers were much superior to the "other" name brand speakers for which I paid significantly more. I'm very pleased with my order, and they're still pumping out great sound in my vehicle!!!
"Replaced front dash speakers in my 1990 Jeep Cherokee with HIFONICS speakers. They do the job "
"They fit perfectly Direct fit in my 2005 Dodge neon SXT dash speakers haven’t worked them in yet but will up date in a week "
Great little speaker. Added dash speakers to a 07 Ram with a Thor amp. Good price point for features. good quality, well built, great sound.
Great sound for the price! I was a bit apprehensive because of the low price. I'm very pleased with the sound quality.
Can’t be beat for the price. They sound way better than the factory dash speakers in my 17 ram they replaced. Only rated for 25 watts so don’t plan on using an amp with them though. I’m really happy with them.
Impressive for inexpensive little speakers. Nice and clear, no distortion, about as much bass as a stock 6x9 in a new car.
Installed these speakers in my girlfriend's 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee and they are great. The install was easy, the speakers sound nice, and the best part is how affordable they are. Obviously these are not made for audiophiles, but if you need to replace old speakers, I say go for it.
On the high end of the continuum, there is a lack of overall clarity and detail. Efficiency is average. Nothing in the 3.5” class compares to the Infinity kool-ade I've sampled in my last two Rams. I can't wait for them to arrive. ?
"When it comes to speakers, Pyle is my first choice. These 4x6 full-range speakers sound fantastic. Don't be fooled by the size of the magnet on the submarine. I run them at about 180 watts with a crossover to cancel the heavy bass, and they handle it without popping. When it comes to speakers, Pyle is my first choice."
I don't know how good the sound is yet, but if they're half as good as my other Pyle speakers, my nephew will be overjoyed as a Christmas gift. I can't afford to buy the more expensive ones for him as a Christmas gift. There aren't many speakers in this size available for purchase. They'll fit perfectly in a 2002 Chevrolet Malibu's front door.
These were ordered for my 2004 Jeep TJ. I replaced the factory speakers in the front with these, and they function perfectly. I've bought higher-priced, higher-quality ones that didn't last long because I do a lot of offroading and they get shook around and go out. I haven't put these through the offroad test yet, but they sound fantastic and match perfectly! Great speaker for the money!
I was looking for some speakers for my 91 Chevy Silverado and found these. Yes, they were less than $20 when I bought them, but the sound quality was incredible for the price. My factory speakers were bad, and I didn't want to spend a fortune on this old truck... All I needed was some sound. The Pyle PL463BL was the way to go. They were easy to mount and fit perfectly in the dash where the factory ones used to be. These could be installed by anyone. There are several mounting holes to accommodate a variety of applications. These Pyle speakers produced a lot of sound for a low price. If you're on a budget, Pyle's PL463BL is a good option.
These aren't cheap, but they can handle a lot of power and produce a fine, clear tone. On my 1990 Jeep YJ, the holes precisely align with the original speaker mounting post. The original dash speakers are birdcaged in the dash, and there is no way to mount them but to lay down the windshield, remove the dash screws, and lift the dash 4 inches into the driver compartment. It took less than 2 hours to mount, with the majority of that time spent removing and reinstalling the dash.
The installation on a 1994 Chevrolet K1500 Silverado was straightforward. They sound amazing to me because I'm not a big fan of thump and bass. All I want is a plain, clear tone. I used a Metra wiring harness for installation assistance because it didn't need me to cut any factory wiring and made wiring a breeze. I strongly suggest it. After all, it's called "PYLE."
"I needed a pair of cheap speakers to throw in my work truck. Fit in my peterbuilt great, sound surprisingly decent, and get pretty loud. Don't order these if your looking for bass, because you wont get it. It;s a 4x6, you wont get bass out of a speaker that small regardless though."
This is what I got for my husband's truck, and it works great! It all depends on your needs; it's very good and inexpensive, but if you want more bass, you'll have to look elsewhere. Overall, a fantastic purchase.
I got these and the plug and play wires and am going to order another pair for the rears they sound fantastic I am not going for the whole block to hear me coming down the street because my truck does that on its own but for my country music these are fine. It just took me 20 minutes to set up.
Installed these and lasted for only 2 months. Don't buy cheap. You get what you pay for. They show signs of melting on the plastic cone for the tweeter from being mounted in the dash of my 92 GMC Yukon.
For this price, you simply cannot get a better speaker. In my Jeep Wrangler, I've been through a lot of speakers. So, in order to avoid spending too much money on yet another package, I purchased these 4x6's, the 5.25's for the sound bar, and the Pyle 6" console subwoofer. Anyone riding along with me thinks I've spent a fortune on this sound system because of this setup. In the end, it's low-cost, great-sounding, and long-lasting. Strongly suggested. Expect nothing less than awe-inspiring sound, but be prepared to be wowed.
"Based on what I spent for these and what I had before, which was 3 blown speakers, these are practically alpine type r. Not really but they work well for the price. "
The sound quality, equipment, and overall product have all exceeded my expectations. My only concern was the strength and reliability of the given wire, but it seems to have held up and works well, and there is plenty of it included. I would recommend these to anyone who wants 4x6 speakers! . The wiring into my Chevy Silverado device was simple to do.
there will be no discreet delivery They left a speaker box on my doorstep with no brown box around it, indicating that everyone knew what I'd ordered, posing a high risk of robbery!!! They look amazing, but they don't have any low-end bass, which is fine because I use them for my mids and highs anyway.
At the price, this was an absolute bargain. In terms of efficiency, this was more than adequate when compared to models twice as costly. It has a pleasant sound and serves its purpose well. It's hard to make a mistake with it. It was mounted in an S2000 to cover the distance between the rear speakers and the cabin. Without a doubt, this is a good product.
"These are fantastic little speakers for the price, and they... These are excellent little renegades speakers for the money, and they come with adequate grill covers. I'm happier with these than with my alpine type e's, which cost twice as much without covers. I'd suggest it."
perfect fit for my DIY speaker box. i just love it.
They do what want at a very good price. Met expectations great value
4 inch speaker!!! Great Speaker for the price
2006 GL1800 upgrade.Used for rear speakers on 2006 GL1800. Sounds better than stock Honda speakers.
These are excellent little speakers for the money, and they come with adequate grill covers. I believe I paid $16 for the pair, including shipping. I'm happier with these than with my alpine type e's, which cost twice as much without covers. I'd suggest it.
Unfortunately, my car is now a rolling boom box, thanks to my teenage son.
"I replaced the worn-out OEM 4-inch speakers in my Zap Xebra Electric Pickup Truck with a pair of these. These Renegade speakers are also 50% more powerful, delivering all the stereo volume I could ever want. The amount of sound -and bass- coming out of these tiny speakers astounded me. This product comes highly recommended from me. Plus, the price is unbeatable!"
"They don't have a lot of bass, but they have a nice bright, clear sound with the stock radio. Definitely a step up from the factory speakers. After removing two of the four tabs, it fits in the T1N sprinters."
That's fantastic! Used in a stereo system with a cycle sound better. This is a fantastic substitute. This is a huge improvement on what was previously available.
To be honest, I'm using these to replace a crappy single speaker from a tabletop arcade machine that I converted into a personal MAME arcade with the help of a 12v amp. So it goes without saying that these are 1000 times better. Of course, 2-channel amplified stereo blows a tiny single speaker out of the water, but for the price, these sound fantastic. The construction quality and sound quality are also excellent. I wouldn't think twice about buying another pair of these to replace my stock speakers in my car.
I highly recommend this product. And you can't beat the price!
"recommended product For a 2005 GMC Savanna, this is a good replacement speaker for the money. All of the holes corresponded to the originals. The speakers have a little more bass than the originals and sound clean up to 90% volume."
It only took a few minutes to cut a hole and mount, and the sound is pretty decent for a cheap amp and head unit. Much better than my default sound. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat for my other center console projects.
It has excellent sound quality and can accommodate high volumes. These sounded incredible on my S10 with a Sony 600.4 amp. These are the ones to go to if you want to go stock spot. I will 100% recommend it.
My package arrived the next day after I placed my order. Installed in the back of a 1999 Tahoe to replace the factory speakers, which were broken! Since the truck is driven by a Pioneer DBL DIN stereo, it has premium sound thanks to the factory amp. Great speaker for a nice upgrade that's super easy to mount and comes at a reasonable price. I wish I had been able to use the speaker grills because they were extremely attractive. Due to the custom panel scale, the factory truck cloth speaker grill had to be used.
I have been with Planet AUDIO for years. I ordered this set for the back of my Tacoma and was not disappointed! The speakers are well-built and the sound is great.
I installed these in the dash of an old truck. They are run off an amplifier, and seem to handle the extra power. They were a little scratchy at first, but I think there may be a problem with the amp. I am replacing the amp, and will update my review if that doesn't solve the issue.
"Top of the line. At first they sound terrible. Once you reach the 10 hrs of break in.. they sound awesome. All I run is planet audio in everything now. "
In my 1987 K5 Blazer, they match perfectly under the stock speaker cover. The sound quality is outstanding, and they are a significant upgrade over the stock speakers, which are 30 years old. They were well-packaged and arrived with everything needed to set them up.
I will put you on every Social media platform I can come up with to let people know you're not a valid company you sit me empty package
"I'm not sure what you're waiting for if you haven't bought these speakers yet... In my 2005 Mazda 3, I replaced all of the stock Bose speakers.... I'll buy it again."
"I ordered 4 of these speakers and 3 of them work great but one doesn't work at all. "
I was just looking for some cheap, toss in quick, speakers to put in my car. Scrolled across these and thought, they fit the cheap part of the search, but how did they sound, and how easy were they to put in? Installation is a snap, and the performance is nothing short of amazing! Crisp, detailed highs, punchy, yet smooth lows. Lots of bang for your buck here.
For the money, come on. If nothing else I knew I now had good speakers and wires so I could diagnose some grounding issues coming through the radio with an older truck I bought. But I got those sorted out and they sound pretty good. I just run them off the deck. Adding two kick panel pods and a small 10" sub ran off a separate amp in a standard cab pickup and I'm overly happy. (BTW if you have an older truck with alternator wine sometimes the engine to body or frame ground strap with wear and break, that fixed some or it. ****But sand the rear tail light ground connection of the frame, it looked fine but that solved it, don't be expecting to blast your ears off but for some tunes so you don't have to listen to yourself singing these speakers are great****
"Planet Audio 5.25 Inch Car Speakers My package arrived the next day after I placed my order. Installed in the back of a 1999 Tahoe to replace the factory speakers, which were broken! These speakers are outstanding. I purchased the 3.5” and mounted them in my 1998 Sebring with no problems. The tweeter protrudes 1/2 inch from the speaker's tip. You should remember that I used to have a competition stereo when I was in my early twenties. Not bass, but sound quality was what I was looking for. These speakers perform admirably in terms of capability. I'll try to describe this sound... You'll note a major change in sound if you replace a pair of worn-out paper cone speakers. The high frequencies (treble) are much more pronounced and vivid, and most of the mid-range frequencies, where vocal sounds can usually be heard, are greatly reduced.
"Great sound quality and it can handle the volume. Had these on my S10 with a 600.4 Sony amp and they sounded amazing. If you want to go stock location these are the ones you want. Would recommend 100% "

Mount perfectly in my 87 K5 Blazer and fit under the stock speaker cover. Sound excellent and were a big improvement over the 30 year old stock speakers. They were packaged well and and shipped out with everything needed to install them.
I bought these to replace the stock speakers in my saab 9-3 (the stock sound system in my saab is terrible), but they were even worse, so I put my saab speakers back in. These would undoubtedly be returned.
So far so good, low price good quality sound through the low to medium volume level, i will not be using these for high volume. Very pleased with these speakers for this price.
These speakers are just the best you could hope for at this price point. Of course, they aren't as good as JBL, Infinity, or any other edge speakers, and no one would expect them to be. They sound good but don't put more than 100 watts to the or you will blow them up good for factory stereo and after market
They went into the factory spot with no problem sound very good too but don't expect that extra bass to come out 4 by 10 don't produce bass
I was just looking for some inexpensive, quick-to-install speakers for my car. I came across these and thought they suited the low-cost criteria, but how did they sound and how simple were they to install? The installation is easy, and the performance is outstanding! Highs that are crisp and informative, with punchy yet smooth lows. Here's where you get a lot of bang for your buck.
Come on, it's for the money. At the very least, I now had good speakers and wires, allowing me to diagnose some grounding issues with an older truck I purchased through the radio. "Works in my regular cab 2003 Chevy Silverado 1500 WT with the factory radio. These are designed to fit into the rear side panels. Since the factory speakers just snap in, you'll need to drill holes to mount them, which is a clever feature that cuts installation time and costs. Since the included screws do not tap or ""bite"" into the sheet metal, you must either drill holes slightly larger than the included screws and use the included tabs to install the speakers (which can be a pain, in my opinion), or use self-tapping screws, which is what I did. Sound - They're powered by the upgraded factory radio, a JVC KD-X330BTS, and they sound fantastic, in my opinion."
"Complete range Boss 4 inch for 1999 Porsche 911 I've been around car audio since I was a teenager (late 1980s), and I recall the Boss brand being on the lower end of the output spectrum. All I can tell now is that they've come a long way!!! (I'm a Rockford Fosgate and Alpine guy by trade) I bought two sets of 4 inch full range speakers to replace my Porsche 911's dash and rear speakers, and WOW, they sound amazing!! I also bought some 5 1/4 door speakers for the 911, which I adore!! Now the car sounds fantastic!! The seller comes highly recommended! Shipping was prompt and effective!!"
Direct bolt in for stock GM speakers. Mount tabs line up with factory attached wires using Metra adapters took all of 10 minutes to swap them. They sound good. Are a real good match for the $20 Boss stereo I put in my old mostly off road Suburban. They even look good behind the factory speaker grills.
Needed new rear speakers for Suburban after the OEM started rattling. These don't sound that great, but the whole sound system in the vehicle is original. These work, have decent bass, and don't have any odd sounds.
"i cant really complain too much being that these are boss speakers, but it kinda bothers me that one of the speakers has taut wires running from the woofer cone to the mid and tweeter. it doesn't seem to affect the sound quality, just kinda sits wrong with my ocd. but beyond my nit picking great speakers. good sound for cheap, and it came with a cutout template so you know what size hole to cut if you have to. i liked that. will probably end up buying more in the future if my truck proves to be worth expansion and not just upgrade "
Had to use a spacer to drop it down some to keep the mid/tweeter assembly from hitting the metal speaker piece that runs from front to back in my 1985 Monte Carlo SS. Otherwise than that they are great and were easy to install.
"work really really well considering the price and were a breeze to install, I have a jeep so I had to buy some separate mounting brackets, other than that everything was super simple. Thanks for making a great affordable product Boss Audio I also bought a set of their marine boat speakers for my overhead sound bar in my jeep (waterproof, that's why I chose them) and they work amazing as well."
I used these to replace the front dash speakers in an Olds Cutlass Ciera. They fit perfectly and sound very good for their size. I noticed another review on here had incorrectly stated that the size was wrong. The 3.5" measurement is the cone diameter , not the mounting centers. This is the way all raw speaker components are measured.
I bought this speaker for my 1966 convertible mustang. When I got the car, it had the original paper cone speaker...I bought a specialty speaker at a show to replace it, but I had to deconstruct it to make it fit. Being a convertible, I need a speaker that is going to be loud enough to be heard over road noise. My first one, not so much. This fits the bill beautifully, and I am thrilled to find a speaker that I do not have to completely modify to make it fit. On top of that, the sound quality far exceeds expectations.
Not the size I needed but def quality looking speakers so I decided to keep them for the price. Will use elsewhere in the future.
"Good for the money. Have been using them for over a couple years now and they still work great. They sound ok and for the price they seem right on for what I was expecting. Not a lot of bass but they don't distort once tuned properly on the head unit. They are doing great. "
Decent speakers for the price but did not directly fit my square body S-10. Required quite a bit of modification to the metal around the speakers including cutting, washers, spacers, and glue. Also had to force them into the dash after- magnets are quite a bit bigger than stock.
"Work well! I installed them in my 94 full size blazer and they work great however they are hooked to the stock stereo so I can’t really say how well the base is because the stereo doesn’t put out a lot of watts to the speakers "
The sound great. Was looking for cheap speakers and these worked out perfect. They’re a little big for the 1992 Toyota Corolla on the drivers side dash, but I was able to get it to fit.
They work very well for what they are. They've been pretty durable and the sound is better than I expected. If you're looking for low end, I suggest something else. I just added a simple sub woofer setup to the system and it sounds fine.
"The price was a factor in my decision. For me, the reviews are mostly correct; these speakers lack low end (bass), but I wasn't searching for low end because I already have two other speakers that can handle it. I was simply searching for a replacement for my older, broken speakers, which these do. They aren't the best you can find, but they serve a purpose. These are something I would recommend to everyone."
"Some factory RV speakers were replaced. This were a direct substitute for our RV's dreadful factory speakers. I was able to unscrew the ceiling speakers, attach the wires to these, and reinstall them in the same holes. The sound quality has vastly improved... I can hear some bass now, and the midrange is much more packed. Even with the same stock head unit, I added a Rockville RW8CA 8"" 600 Watt Under-Seat Slim Amplified Car Subwoofer +Wire Kit, and the sound in the RV is significantly improved!"
"For the money they’re five stars Hooked up only to receiver no amp Cheap old jvc deck 20 yrs Sound great with car off Or turned up 3/4 of the way with car on After that u get distortion but could be deck Below 3/4 with car on they just don’t sound as full"
I bought these to replace oem speakers in my Volvo since one was blown. The price was great and I already new that Blaupunkt was a good quality item so was a no brained whether or not to buy them.... So happy I did because they sound "Awsome"!!!
"Very satisfied with the product. Installed perfectly in the doors of my '92 F150. Didn't need to amplify or add crossovers since I am using a Blaupunkt head unit to supply the power. Perfect match. "
sounds great after break in period I recommend not playing these very loud for a while after first purchasing and install it is more likely to blow if played too loud
"I just got a pair of these speakers to replace the front stock Bose speakers in my 2001 Infiniti QX4 and man what a difference!! i've always like the sound of Bose speakers, but these 4 way Blaupunkt's flat blow them out of the water. The bass and mids are punchy and responsive, and the high's are crisp and clear. I'm seriously considering ordering another pair to install in the back doors as well. Just got to run it past the wife! lol "
"I only had these in for a couple days but I can already tell the difference and they sound way better then the Boss speakers I had before. Installing them was kind of a pain in the ass though where I ended up having to use Gorilla tape to hold the grill cover on. Other then that, I’m pretty happy.. Will probably get another pair for backdoors. "
For the price you can not beat blaupunkt! The subwwofer and amp I have hit hard! And the sound quality from it is awesome. These door speakers sound awesome and deff impress me. My sh*t bumps haha and like I said for the price you can not go wrong!
Blaupunkt coaxial speakers are good direct replacement to owe speakers. sound quality is good although blaupunkt separates are better...
These speakers can take power from an amplifier and are holding up so far as well as giving good sound performance.
The speakers come sooner than expected, which was great. I used them to replace the old factory speakers in my 05 Silverado. I was amazed at the price of these, and the results. I’m using a factory stereo, without an amp. Glad I found these.
These are great speakers for the price. They sound great.
"Slapped 4 of the GTX-650 speakers into my truck. Huge sound quality difference compared to the factory speakers. The highs are crisp and the lows are boomy. They get a lil overwhelmed on the really heavy metal heavy bass songs. If you’re a lover of music and need some “Ballin on a Budget” speakers. I would run these. Don’t crank it up. Break them in gently and enjoy. "
They're simple to mount, and while they're an entry-level speaker, the 90hz frequency fits well with a factory head unit. They're a big improvement over stock speakers, with a lot of clarity and just a little bass. I can't justify the price.
"Excellent value for money 6 x 9 Inch, Full Range, 3 Way Car Speakers, Sound Storm EX369 300 Watt (Per Pair) (Sold in Pairs) I bought these to replace an old pair of speakers I was about to sell in my car. They appear to be well made and sound decent for the money. They might be better if I had an external amp to drive them, but overall I'm pleased with my purchase."
These things sound good on my boat unbelievable how good they sound for the price appearance is good as well would add pic but I won't give any apps permission to my pics I have a 1400 watt system that really needed mid/highs replaced perfect my boat is my pride n joy
These speakers are very light (1lb 10.7oz) compared to the ones I pulled from my vehicle (3lb 13oz) due to the very small permanent ring magnet. This means weak base performance. If you only want some speakers to listen to NPR (like me) then these are fine. But for even moderately loud music, most people will be disappointed.
i installed in door panels on my 97 altima. not quite the right fit for factory replacement but good enough and did not affect the sound quality. they may fit better on another car. good sound quality, nice bass, no complaints here.
Installed in a 07 fj was hard but sounded good on warm up it was a girlfriend of mines car so I’m not in regular just like her but it sounds okay occasionally
"these sound very good and i didn't think they would sound as well as they do. they are full 3 way and the sound is very crisp and clear.. they are great for listening to good quality music."
"I'm a big fan of Sound storm, especially for their prices when compared to other new ""name brand"" sound equipment. I bet you wont find another set that sound as good as these do for the price. I used these to replace the rear speakers in a 2010 crew cab that were water damaged. They compliment the front speakers very well after adjusting the fade a little bit. "
For the price....i wasn't expecting such good sound quality. I hadn't ever heard of this brand but took a chance and they sound pretty darn good! Much better than stock. Crisp high's and decent lows. You wont win any competitions, but if you're looking to brighten up your factory stereo these will do the job
Put them in my boat. Was concerned about the sound because of the low price, but was truly amazed. There is a little bit of kick on the low end. It may not be enough for bass heads, but it doesn't leave the sound feeling empty or tinny.
"I'll review this as best as I can. The car they were installed in is limiting. I installed these in a 1966 Plymouth Valiant. Cars of that era only had speakers in the rear. It's a bid odd hearing music only from behind, but you quickly get used to it. There wasn't anything fancy about these. No bright colors or large, ornate grills. The magnetic was strong and the cone seems very durable. Not a cheap paper cone like some. The sound is clear and seems to really hit the mids well. I'm not a speaker pro, but can appreciate when something should just right. These worked perfect for me. I will update if needed."

Before I start my review of the Sound Storm Labs EX369 6x9 3-way car speakers I would like to say KUDOS to the reviewer who said..."Sounded crisp and clear, anyone who says otherwise either installed wrong or doesn't know what they're talking about." Normally I dismiss a comment like that but something inside me told me that he was right on.
I've had these installed for about a week now. They are very good and well worth the money. My application was to replace the torn OEM speakers in a car with a stock OEM radio. There is no external power amplifier in my application. If you're really pushing your audio (and I am not), then I would ignore my review and rely on the review of people who are using these in a setting more like your intended setting.
My 1997 Ford F150 standard cab truck was ideal for these speakers. After 22 years, the factory speakers failed. In addition, the factory stereo was replaced. It's as if the contrast between the two is night and day. The sound quality of the speakers is outstanding. Both the bass and the treble are excellent. The high notes are sharp and distinct. Anyone looking to replace their factory speakers with better speakers should consider these. For the money, this is a fantastic deal. I'm extremely happy!!!
Got as replacement for rear deck speakers in 2001 LHS. Sounds better than most $50++ sets. Was real surprised when I first hooked them up. Not going to win you any competitions by any means but neither is your blown out factory junk. Plays all types of music Loud and Clear. Will be ordering another set for my Town and Country
Decent quality, good sound and definitely an improvement over the factory/stock paper cones they put in base model vehicles. Fit good as rears in my 02 Buick Century. Would recommend ?
"Excellent Quality/Price I wasn't prepared for the high-quality audio from pyle I'm hearing. A JBL stereo with a 2 ohm impedance has been mounted. I had my doubts because everyone says that a 2 ohm amp with 4 ohm speakers equals less power, a squeaky tone, and a blown amp,,,Bullshit. This is not the case; the speakers sound good but not great; however, you can't go wrong. BTW, I had previously installed new JBL 2ohm speakers, but one of them was defective out of the box (returned), and I can tell you that the one that worked had just slightly more bass at 3/4 volume, but these sound better overall."
Bought 2 pair, Great speakers, highly recommend, installed in a Suzuki X-90 in front doors and in rear behind seats, running a Yamaha 200 watt 4ch amp and they sound fantastic! Great bass and highs, Sound a lot better than more expensive speakers and I’ve been the car audio business for over 40 years
Bought my cousin's old Jeep off her dirt cheap, but being that it's a "Special Edition" Grand, it came with the high end Infinity Gold Sound System. My Grand's rear speakers were pretty bad being that they're factory stock. I used 6x9 Pyle speakers up front, so I continued with Pyle 6.5s in the back. The sound with the factory power amp is amazing now.
"I bought these speakers to replace the stock blown out speakers in my 2001 Maxima. I had never replaced any speakers or head units in a car before. These speakers don't come with any wire nuts, adapters, or mounting brackets. They come with some screws and speaker wires. My stock speakers had a plastic mount around it that was actually a part of the speaker. Since the speakers didn't work, I tore them out from the plastic mount and just screwed these into that mount and it seems to have worked pretty good. "
"So my Nissan Versa had a bad RF speaker and it was just getting worse. I've been looking around for speakers and debating to buy some from best buy or check some out on treasure point online. I ended up finding these one and the price I could not believe. I read some of the other comments and most of them said they were a decent speaker. I bought a pair and figured what heck there to cheap not to buy. I recieved them a day later and i replaced both front door speakers and Damn what a difference they made from the stock speakers. I was so impressed with them I ended up buying another pair for the rear doors the next day. If you do have the bass to high it will sound distorted but it has to be hitting pretty hard. By no means are they the best speaker out there but they are way better than any stock speaker being made right now for cars. "
"It's super easy to set up! It's as simple as connecting the two wires, screwing it in, and you're done! Without the given covers, it works fine. In terms of sound quality, the bass is incredible for such low-cost speakers. Also after tweaking the radio outputs, the treble and higher-pitch sounds are significantly softer than the bass and low-pitch sounds. This is definitely a step down for the music connoisseur, but for someone who only wants to listen to everyday music (or a lot of bass-heavy tunes), this gets the job done on a budget! I'd like to emphasize that unless both/all of your speakers are replaced, you can hear a minor tone difference between the old and new ones."
"Nothing fancy... But, they were perfect replacements in my 1998 Jeep TJ sound bar. I did use some 1/2"" spacers, to assure that I didn't bottom out in the speaker housing (the TJ sound bar is kinda shallow). Had to drill new mounting holes, since the new speakers holes didn't line up with the oem holes. Also used the speaker connector adapters for time saving. No real problems, just take your time. "
i love it. best product. i will buy again
I put these into my daughter's 1997 Honda Civic LX sedan to replace the original front door speakers that did not work at all when we bought the car. First off, these sound good and for the money, they fit the bill. As for fitting into the Civic, I had to use a Dremel with a cutting wheel attached to trim off the metal rim of the speaker. There is enough extra metal there so no worries. In order to use the included screws to fasten down the speaker, I just drilled small pilot holes into the plastic panel of the door and they tightened down snugly. The original speaker covers went right back on and fit over these nicely.
"Hey, not audiophile speakers, but you didn't expect that, did you? I use them for my arcade cabinet. They've got a great look and a nice, clear sound without muddy-ing and distortion. They sound solid. Of course, when I switch to my audiophile speakers for music I can tell the difference in a heartbeat, but these are good if you just need some sound output that doesn't sound like it's coming out of a paper tube. They're just some solid, cheap speakers that produce a sound that isn't noticeably horrible. To a less picky person, these will do the trick easily! Nice highs, clear mids, and punchy lows. Still, I would suggest a subwoofer or a woofer for bass as well if you want to shake the house, or the car. "
"These speakers are at least as good as the factory ones (B15 Nissan Sentra), but I got rid of those things when I first purchased the car a few years ago. I purchased these speakers as a cheap replacement for my Rockford Fosgate (RF) Punch series speakers, so that I could sell the car. The difference in quality between these and the RFs is night and day: i.e. the Rockford deliver much, much better sound quality, dynamic range, and power handling. However, you get what you pay for. I am happy with these speakers--hence the five stars, because they are really cheap and will suit the car just fine for me selling it. "
I replaced my front door speakers in a mistubishi eclipse and installation was fairly simple. I did need to strip the wires to get them to attach to the wiring of the original factory installed speakers. Speakers sound great. They come with a covering but for most people you'll never need it. The holes around the unit may not match up to the holes in your car in attaching screws - so you'll need to get creative. The clamps are key. As long as you can screw the clamps in they'll keep the unit in place. My original speakers had a magnet holding them in place - for these you'll need to make sure the clamps are in tight and they should hold.
I bought these for my 2004 Nissan Sentra. The size is correct, 6.5". The screw holes did not line up but that was no problem. The sound is great, there is distortion if you turn it up too high but that is normal with all speakers. They take care of bass very nicely but a word of advice, if you purchase these for side door panels, make sure to buy Dynamat's Xtreme speaker kit. The bass these things produce will make your doors rattle. Also, these have a rather shallow mounting depth so it's good for doors with less than 2.5" of space.
This is my second set. I use them in a portable stereo I built into a Coleman Stacker Cooler. They have been playing a local radio station 24/7 for almost a year in my living room and are still great. I took the radio to Kansas for a trip and one of the tweeter wires came loose after being really rough on them for quite a while. I was able to super glue the wire back on and they have been working for several months still.
Was looking for inexpensive speakers for my 1993 Honda Accord - Put these in the back deck. While the holes did not line up exactly all I had to do was screw them to the frame of the speaker housing using 3 small screws - still fit great and was able to use the existing speaker housing and cover grill - no customization at all. Took me 20 minutes to install using the Metra conversion harness - no soldering - easy plug and play. And they sound great ! For the money - great product - very happy with them. Need two more now for the doors !!!
"6 1/2 Excellent ""Speakers with solid bass and consistent sound. I used 61/2 of them ""In the front door, round speakers would replace 4x6s. They're connected to a Sony head unit with a 55-watt per channel output. Even though that's just about a third of the maximum power the speakers can accommodate, it's loud enough for me.This is a better lower bass ranking than Kicker, JBL, Rockford Fosgate, Infinity, and other 61/2s speakers. I couldn't use the offered plastic adaptors because I went for a larger speaker, which were made much stronger than the flimsy ones pioneer offers with their 4x6 speakers, which I used to replace the rears. I bought an adaptor from car adaptors and it worked well."
"Good price and Good Speaker I like the fact that the membrane is made out of rubber, which means that it will last longer. the sound is not that bad for that price. If I compared them to the sundown audio Rockford Fosgate R165X3 Prime 6.5"" Full-Range 3-Way Coaxial Speaker (Pair). I would say the Hifonics are that bad. I owned 2 pairs of the Rockford R165x3 and they Are a little on the high speech with good base. The Hifonics are not so high which I like. I would recommend this item with hifonics brutus amp"
Purchased these last week for my 04 Silverado crew cab, install was easy and simple i used the adapters to reatain the stock plug n play connection and i must say the sound is much better than the stock bose, a much clearer and crisp sound.
I love these ! Replaced stock door speakers in my 2013 Smart car. These are 4 way and using a aftermarket pioneer head unit with these makes a huge difference in this car. It's as different as ight and day, well worth the money. Very clear sound.
...well worth it for the price. I used these speaker to replace some Infinity speakers I had purchased from another major online car audio seller for about the same price. These Pioneers are way better. I'm sticking with Pioneer and Rockford Fosgate for all my car audio needs from now on.
For the price these speakers are great. Definitely a very well worth-it replacement for old OEM speakers. They have nice mids and good treble, but the bass is terrible. If you like some thump in your music I would definitely suggest finding something else, or getting a sub instead. When the volume is cranked up they do start to distort sooner than I would find acceptable too, but I never turn music up that loud anyways so it doesn't bother me.
"I put these in the doors of my 1991 Mazda Miata to replace the old Infinity speakers that had finally disintegrated after 20 odd years. They lined up perfectly with the existing mounting holes so I didn't need any of the attachment gear that came with them. The tweeter protrudes a bit and I was afraid the door panel/speaker cover would not fit flush, but it came out just right. They sound great with the Infinity headrest speakers I put in just a few years back. And the price was great. Very happy. "
I have used these for awhile now and all I can say is that these sound very good, I have a pair of these in the front doors of my blazer and man can I say these sound good even with the bass turned up.
for no more than the size and the price,,they are a good buy..they didn't exactly fit my 99 Toyota corolla front door..but just screwed them in to the speaker hole where I could get a good part of the door metal..the window doesn't go all the way way down w/out stopping short, from hitting the back of the speaker, could of put a spacer in, but that wouldn't allowed me to put the door panels and speaker grills back on..so a little give n take..they sound awesome w/ the new pioneer stereo I put in too..yes, I'm pleased..
For what these are, 6.5-inch speakers, the bass is pretty good, especially at higher volumes. But, don't expect earthquake bass from such small speakers.
Great product. Works as expect. Sounds great. I would recommend the wiring harness to connect to the vehicle's wiring. Highly recommend.
In the front doors of my 2007 Chevy Malibu, I mounted a pair of these. The sound quality is excellent when using the factory head unit. I used the supplied terminals instead of the factory speaker connector. Speaker wiring adapters, I believe, are also available. The speakers were attached directly to the factory door mounts on my car. I didn't need the adapter plates that came with the package.
"The only bad thing about these speakers is that they shake a bit and not only with bass but even song with only treble. If it wasn’t for them shaking, they would be great because they sound really good. If you don’t have an amp in your car than get the kicker DS. "
These are an excellent pair of speakers. The bass is adequate, but if you want REAL bass, invest in a proper subwoofer. They can handle bass and don't distort at higher levels, in my experience. It was a little strange and complicated to get them to screw in on my 2015 Ford Focus, but it was well worth it. Mayne is worth a ten out of ten on that piece of paper, cuhh naw mean son?
"For about a month, I had these in my car. They sound a thousand times better than my original speakers. There are better choices available in terms of quality and efficiency, but for the money, you can't go wrong. All of these other reviews about consistency indicate that you get just what you pay for. Overall, a fantastic product for the price, with a far larger magnet than expected."
"Wrangler TJ gets a nice upgrade. For the price, this is an excellent sound system. I had no problems installing them into the sound pods of a 2005 Jeep Wrangler TJ. A 90Hz bass blocker and poly-fil were added. With no distortion, it comfortably handles my 50 watts per channel head unit. Even though the directional tweeters can only be adjusted by a few degrees, it's good to have that amount of flexibility. These sound much smoother and have almost no tweeter ""twang"" as compared to the entry-level Rockford Fosgates I had previously. Also recommended polk audio db651"
"I replaced all four speakers in my 2003 Wrangler with Polk Audio DB521s. To use these in the dash you'll need to purchase a set of adapter plates, but the improvement in sound response of the 4x10s are well worth the price of the brackets. The DBs mounted up in the sound bar with relative ease. I initially attempted to reuse the factory speaker grills, but ended up cracking them because of the Polk's directional tweeter. I simply tightened the factory grills down a little too far - my fault! The easy fix was to spray paint the Polk grills black in order to make them look a little less inconspicuous. No worries, because these mounted onto the sound bar with ease and look much better than the factory grills. Lastly, treasure point online offered the best deal that I could find for a quality factory replacement speaker. Thanks again to TREASURE POINT for taking it easy on my wallet! "
"These babies kick out some sound! They are plenty loud, the sound is full and clean with tight/punchy bass, clear mids, and clean clear highs. Because of the size of the opening I was limited in available choices and was expecting to hear sound lacking in bass. Having been impressed with Polk components in the past, I decided to give these a try. First, they feel substantial and well made. Second they fit my openings perfectly. Third, they do not fail to impress. They stand up to the Polk reputation. I am very pleased with them and plan to buy another pair for the rear speakers soon."
"I bought these to replace a set of Kenwood speakers as per this link Kenwood KFC-1365S 2-Way 5-1/4"" Flush Mount Car Stereo Speakers All I can say is wow! These speakers are well worth the price. Even though they are driven directly from the head unit (Kenwood BT34U) the sound quality is very good and far better than the Kenwood speakers which were already a step up from the stock factory units that came in my car but which could not keep up with the active sub I had installed."
On my 1997 Toyota Corolla DX, I replaced the factory rear speakers with these. Since these were a little smaller in overall diameter than my stock speakers, I cut out the middle of my old speaker frame baskets, leaving around 1/4" of the four spokes intact, and screwed the Polks to the spoke areas on the inside of the old frame basket with short sheet metal screws. (In a sense, they're a speaker inside a speaker.) They sound way better than my old ones, and after listening to them, you'd swear they were a larger speaker. I'd go for the Polk 6.5" rounds in the back if I had to do it all over again on my Corolla. They'd be easier to install and sound much better than the 5.25"s, in my opinion.
"I love these so much, i bought two more for the rear of the boat. Seriously if you're debating what to get, just grab them. Throw some silicone on your connections and use marine grade so you won't have to worry about rust especially in the salt. "
Polk speakers have been in every boat I've owned, and they've held up admirably to the elements. They're a different color than previous Polk DBs, so they don't fit the rest of my collection, but they're not in a highly visible place, so I don't mind. The covers and cone appear to be the same grey as my older speakers in the picture, but in fact, the cone is almost a reddish bronze or gold color, and the cover is a much lighter silver.
"Replaced the speakers and radio in my 99 harley ultra, these speakers fit perfectly in the front fairing without modification and sound great. The rear speaker pods, the speaker are too tall to use the standard grill, swapped out the standard grill for the grill included. Please note that these speakers are not flush mount, the tweeter sticks out. "
In the fairing of my 2007 Victory Kingpin, I mounted four of these 5 1/4 Polk speakers. I have a Sony Marine head unit connected to an Alpine KTP-445U amplifier. They sound amazing!!! When I first heard the sound these tiny speakers make, I couldn't believe my ears. Now, you won't get earth-shattering bass from these because they're just 5 1/4 speakers, but the highs sound better than just about every other speaker I've ever used. I would recommend these speakers to anyone looking for a low-cost, high-quality speaker. You won't find a better deal for the money.
Very efficient and great sounding speakers.I put these in my 26' prowler travel trailer..had to use 1" spacers since the magnet depth was deeper than the Jensen's I replaced. Work well with low wattage head units and still put out great sound. Marine certified and UV resistant. I would buy them again and probably will use them inside as well.
Sounds better in mid range and treble. Bass is a dull thump at low volume. But turn it up and great sound over all. Takes a little more power to drive them on the volume control. Satisfied once the audio is tweaked in. Best when loud .
These are outstanding speakers. The low-midrange is well-balanced with the high end, and they have a strong kick to them. One thing to keep in mind: these are really deep speakers. If you're going to put them in a trap, make sure you have enough depth first. Check with the window down as well, as you don't want them to obstruct the window process.
Placed order on a Thursday and By Sunday they were on my door step. Super fast shipping. Installed them on the fairing on my bike. It took about 45 minutes to remove the old an install the new speakers. The audio sounds great and the price was right. Thank you Polk Audio and treasure point online
These speakers have a fantastic sound and fit perfectly in my 2000 Jeep Cherokee's original speakers. All I had to do was drill two new holes because my old speakers only had two screws holding them in place, while these have four, and solder the wires in place. So, put the money to good use.
It worked well with Nailen's speaker inserts. There is no need to make any changes. Since it's a jeep, I can't say the sound was significantly improved. They are, however, holding up. For replacement speakers, this is a cost-effective alternative. For this form of use, the water resistance rating is a bonus.
"For the price, this is an excellent speaker. In the seat of my Chinese scooter, I have this combined with a SOUND STORM SMCM200 Mini 200-Watt Monoblock, Class A/B 2 to 8 Ohm Stable Monoblock Amplifier and installed in a sealed enclosure. I love the puzzled looks people give me when they know I ride a scooter that thumps! I've had it installed for around 5 months and haven't had any problems. For the $15 I paid for it, I'm very pleased with this speaker. I'm going to get another pair of these 8-inch subs, as well as a pair of 10-inch subs, to put in my car."
"I love these so much, i bought two more for the rear of the boat. Seriously if you're debating what to get, just grab them. Throw some silicone on your connections and use marine grade so you won't have to worry about rust especially in the salt. "
On a Toyota Avalon 2002, I replaced a damaged sub. I tried a few different speakers before settling on this one. My stock JBL amp system lined up perfectly with the low ohm compared to 4 ohm and 56hz fs. I'm hitting lows well even though I'm not yet broken in. To give you an idea of whether it will work with your stock system, I say stock because the magnet on this speaker is weak, so it won't be able to handle wattage above that of stock amp systems. My avalon jbl amp had a 3.7 ohm sub that was rated at about 30 watts rms. so, I am guessing this speaker matches those ratings pretty closely.
Replaced the old blown out 6 inch sub in the Lexus. Big improvement. Needed to grind the speaker box a bit. And ported with 4 1,5 inch holes. Hits so much better lows than the mark levinson.
Great substitute for the ridiculously overpriced factory replacement subwoofer! The factory one is around $600-$700. The repair kit for it was more than this! I actually ended up destroying the original since the ignorant engineers decided to make the mounting bracket PART OF THE SUBWOOFER BASKET! Sounds great though.

Replaced a blown kicker and dropped this into the kicker enclosure i still had. The holes didn't line up perfectly. But damn for $14 shipped to my door with in a week, this sub kinda kicks ass. Its not as deep as my kicker but it punches way above what i paid for it. Awesome value. With something like this you could hook up a car with a full sub setup for $100 or less.
This sub KICKS for what it is it does the job perfect. As long as you don’t push too much threw it it sounds great and hits hard. I built a box to the suggested dimensions and it sounds wonderful especially for the price. You simply can not beat this deal if you’re looking for a cheap sub to bump just the right amount you’re looking at the right sub.
"Very surprised and impressed. Put two of these in two 1cubic ft enclosures with some polyfill and they sound amazing. They are clear and the bass is tight. Haven’t pushed them at all but if this is any indication of their performance I’d recommend them to anyone. And for the price you can’t beat it. UPDATE: so I’ve been pushing these two wired in parallel with about 350watts each and they are still hitting hard and doing great. Would buy again in a second."
I have an old Sony entertainment system with huge concert style speaker cabinets. The old speakers had blown so I got these as a replacement. I put two in, even tho the old cabinets had 4 woofers, and these woofers sound great, and honestly for the price, cant be beaten. They have plenty of bass and kick for home use. If i turn the woofers up to about half volume on the Sony receiver, just two of these will rock my house.
"I didn't expect much for the price but they bang hard. Shakes everything in my car. I put 2 12s in a large ported box and they sound great. I'm running an old jenson 1500w amp bridged at 8 ohms and they sound fantastic. After they break in ill switch to an amp that can handle 2 ohms to give more power. "
Blown away by this sub. I was thinking I would fry it in 10 min. Running an old kenwood 600 watt amp and it sounds great, and I can tell its being pushed just right. For 16 bucks.... You can not... can not go wrong.... Its not gonna shake the windows, but it sounds great
Ordered this sub for like 20 bucks a month or so ago. Wasn't expecting much of her just wanted to make sure I really wanted to put some bump in the trunk of the camry. Got an ssl ev1000.2 amp, this sub and a 8 gauge wiring kit for like $80. Went with a 1000 watt amp because why not lol. sub hits hard and clean very impressed for the money. Sucker takes the abuse!! highly recommend

"Cant beat it for the price Update, blew this after about a month. I'm not complaining though because I was way overpowering it at 1000w. While it was working I had no complaints so I won't even lower the rating I gave, for the price I would do it again but I'm upgrading to a RF p3-12"
If you want something decent and inexpensive, this is the place to go!! This is the right one! I connected it to a Lanzar 2 channel 1100 watt amp. It's a good hit! Don't hold your breath for window movements. but it's a decent hit
For the price, this is a fantastic little sub. Since it's just an 8, it sounded fantastic in my daily cab pickup. There isn't a lot of bass, but it's enough to make a difference.
"Great subs; I'll be recommending them to others. The Qpower 15 Deluxe have been a part of my life since I was a child. I had three 2400 Watts, so when these were released, I bought three of them and wired them in parallel to achieve a 1 Ohm stable. It's now linked to a Cadence 6000. It's slamming them harder than I expected, and that cone is thick as hell! qpower car subwoofer are 4000 watt subs with Dual 3 Ohm impedance, as opposed to the older 2400s. Great subs; I'll be recommending them to others!"
"This is well worth the money. This is my third subwoofer but not to replace the other two. Now I have three and they are very loud! "
Love it have them on a Rockville 6000 and they handle very well great product great deep bass sound. Thanks will buy from seller again.
It's on a Rockville rxd-m4 with a Soundqubed 10inch 1200rms and a Memphis 12 mojo 1500 rms. I made a box 3 feet long 20 inches wide 15 inches deep 3 inches as well as Q Thanks for a decent sub at $116.00 and my low bass sounds sweet now I'm going to make 1 more box 4 mojo I put it in 15 box before cutting 15 hole and it sound better than prefab box.
Fantastic We have only had it for two days so we will see how it goes after that. It has a 5000 watt planet audio amp on it, and it hits very well. I would recommend it to friends who are on a budget but want good sound.
Clear n Very Hard hitting for the price. This sub is so Amazing! Hitting even harder after I broke it in, 3' inch DVC producing Strong Thunderous Bass.
It's been a while since I purchased four of these, and they arrived busted. It took me a long time to get them in, so I haven't hooked up the others yet, but they seem to be in good condition.
I got one of these at a store in Houston yesterday, and the clerk said they had just come out, so I had to try it. Built to be both attractive and durable. I had a strong experience with the older q powers deluxe version, and this one seemed wayyyy In my huge ported q bomb box, it sounds fantastic. I gave it four stars because there's no way this thing can handle 4000 watts, maybe 1000 at most, and I'm driving it hard with my 500 rms amp. Budget-friendly speaker.
Great build quality and nice deep extension. Flat to below 20hz with decent power handling.
Great subs I had 2 of them on a skar 1500 sounded amazing great budget sub
Bass is amazing bumps my whole car love it
Very good I like it
I just love this 15 Q powers wish i had the money to get 2 more of them
Would recommend to any one. Good speaker for the money.
They are the bomb my car is rocking and knocking
"It's a decent low-budget pyle subwoofer. First and foremost, a decent price and a good appearance! It can't even manage 500 watts of continuous power! It's classified at a higher level, hmmmm... No, keep it at a low wattage of 200-350 and you should be good, but on the downside, you won't get the sound you're looking for. To hit the lows, you'll need to increase your bass boost, lower your frequency response, and increase your dek eq. So I'm not sure how to save this one while still getting results!"
These are reasonable for the price. In a 1999 Trans Am, I replaced two factory 6.5 woofers with the factory Monsoon stereo. I wasn't expecting anything for the money because I was searching for a cheap substitute for blown speakers in a car that gets driven just a few times a year. When I switched on the stereo and heard how good they sounded, I was pleasantly surprised. Time can say if they hold up, but for now they do the job.
For the price, this is an excellent result. When it comes to cheap subs, the most important factor to consider is longevity. For a day or two, something can sound appealing, but how long can it last? For the past year, I've been beating this on a regular basis. In that time, there was no degradation in efficiency. You simply need to fine-tune it and not overdo it. It begins to distort if I offer it too much juice. However, considering its price point, it's amazing how loud this can get while still sounding crisp, simple, and distortion-free. This isn't going to win any awards or smash any windows, but it's more than sufficient for everyday personal use for a novice or someone on a budget. I have it set to around 70% of what it's capable of for regular listening range.
So thus is a review on a budget sub, this was the cheapest dual voice coil sub and I will update this review after I install the subs and run them. See my pictures for the more important parts of the speakers, one thing that should be noted is these have PLASTIC BASKETS meaning they could crack over time especially in hot and cold conditions and heavy usage but they can't take enough power to damage their own basket so this shouldn't be an issue but did come as a surprise to me. Second note is the tinsel leads are not woven into the spider but again this is a big time budget sub so im ratings it with that in mind. Third thing is these don't and won't do its rated power so don't try, the cone, dust cap and surround feel pretty solid as well and the terminals are good and sturdy...update coming soon. Update ok so I added a photo of the finished product and I gotta say I'm amazed at how good these cheap subs sound, I wired these in series to get a 8 ohm load cause obviously im running these as 4 channel with a 8 ohm min on my home receiver but good lord these really do sound great so for the price im gonna give these a 5 star rating, I think if you don't over power these then they could be exactly what your looking for in a budget build.
"Okay, I had to use a dremmel to slightly alter the original speaker opening in the package. To fit the depth of this speaker, I also removed the plastic splines on the inside, but it's now in place, looking original and working well. The 'dual' wire connections on this speaker are identical to the OEM woofer wire/connections. Let's just say it works as well as the stereo you already have in the car because this woofer can draw some power that the OEM Z3 stereo cannot, resulting in minimal sound with no distortion and clean bass."
One was destroyed when it arrived... However, it seems to be of excellent quality... I'll update this analysis of how the latest ones sound until they arrive... *UPDATE* Different applications may be available. My plan was to build a boombox. In a tightly sealed case, I have two Pyramid bullet tweeters and a Fosi "200 watt" (more like 30 watts RMSx2 @ 4 ohms) amplifier. I'll confess that these speakers can take a beating. They've surprised me with their ability to hit those low notes. Lower wattage is recommended, but no more than 100w rms per speaker.
These bad boys are incredible. I matched two of these with a good ported box and was pleasantly surprised by the tone. Since they don't believe me based on how good they sound, I have to pop my truck to show them I only have 6 inch subwoofers. "Pyle speakers are just that, piles... of crap!" my own brother tried to convince me. And after this encounter, I completely disagree. You simply cannot find better for the price and the very unique setup I have (older BMW that needed 8 ohm 6 inch subwoofers) without more than doubling the price. I can't say enough good things about these. Get these if you need 8ohm or even 4ohm subs!
I'm going to say that for my low-budget project, this thing is fantastic! This sub is powered by a 2.1 Bluetooth amp board that outputs no more than 100 watts. With the strength it has, this thing lets out a lot of bass. I designed a 1.4ft3 box with a slot port that measures 10.5W x 1.5H x 18L. This is in my master bedroom, and it produces a lot of bass. I'm currently using it in my home audio setup, but I imagine it will work well in a car with the same box volume.
The Shaker device was used to replace the blown factory Pioneer sub in the trunk of my 2013 Mustang. The speaker fit perfectly in the factory sub package, but I had to drill my own mounting holes. Other than that, it sounds as good as the factory amp did if that's what you want, but I don't think the factory amp has the nut to push any further than this.
"Bought this for the intention of replacing an OEM GM 8'' sub and it has worked perfect for that application. Maybe a slight improvement on bass. No complaints if you are using this for a very modest OEM setup. Car audio has come a long way in 20 years. I can't believe the quality for the price. "
Fantastic sub. If you're thinking about purchasing it, go ahead and do so. The money was well spent. Yes, it's a less expensive sub, and a more expensive sub would strike harder, but this one is loud enough to hurt my ears, and I only have a 400 watt amplifier. The amp safety light comes on before the sub even begins to distort, so I know I will get something out of it. Pyle is one of my favorite characters. Excellent value for money!
This speaker went beyond and beyond my standards. It's in a jl stelth box under the seat of my extended cab truck. I'm using an Alpine monoblock amp, which is overkill but works well with the other components. I tried a few of the boss speakers, and the sound is awful and distorts. This subwoofer is better compared to the Alpine type E subwoofer; sound and output are nearly identical at half the cost.
These 15s are very responsive and can handle the bass that I love and they are so durable and feel professionally built to last.I never realized Pyle speakers or subwoofers were of this high quality, but now that I know I will be purchasing another one for my vehicle very soon!!!
I own a Jeep Wrangler TJ and was disappointed to learn from "official" sources that my center console would only accommodate a costly replacement subwoofer. The subwoofer that was supposed to be exclusive to the vehicle had exploded, so I had to repair it. Fortunately, I was able to locate other sources that endorsed the Pyle model. All I had to do was drill a couple of new holes in the plastic (completely concealed from view), screw in the subwoofer, and plug in the electrical connectors. And that's it! It was extremely simple to do and looks much better than the original. The Pyle subwoofer now pumps crisp, simple tones into my vehicle when I crank up the volume on my stereo. I'm completely enamored with the music.
This is the cheapest way to get some mid bass out of your back door. Here, these aren't SPL, so don't expect them to shake your car apart (if you want that, get anything bigger), but if you want some deep bass with a tiny amp, you've found it. (In a sealed or ported box, you might be able to get more than 100rms@2ohm/channel or 200rms@2ohm/mono, but in a car door, you get neither) Use sound deadening or poly foam to separate the rear sounds wave from entering back into the car.
For the price, this is a fantastic subwoofer. This is an excellent subwoofer. The music eventually comes alive after installing this in place of the original subwoofer. It amplifies the bass in the vehicle. Finally, the price of these speakers is excellent, as I did not want anything extravagant. Overall, it was a good investment. PYLE Bluetooth Stereo Receiver are also good with communication channel
Bought this for the intention of replacing an OEM GM 8'' sub and it has worked perfect for that application. Maybe a slight improvement on bass. No complaints if you are using this for a very modest OEM setup. Car audio has come a long way in 20 years. I can't believe the quality for the price.

These 15s are extremely sensitive and capable of handling the bass that I enjoy, as well as being extremely robust and well-built to last. I had no idea Pyle speakers or subwoofers were of such high quality, but now that I do, I'm going to get another one for my car right away!!!
This was purchased to replace a stock Harmon Kardon subwoofer in a BMW Z3 from the year 2000. If you're still undecided, don't be! This is a direct replacement for the original. I had to use weather stripping to seal it into the box and drill new holes, but it fit perfectly in the available space. And it sounds fantastic! In reality, since I now had a completely capable bass speaker bearing its fair share of the load, the entire system sounded better. The price is unbeatable!
replaced factory sub in 00 GMC Yukon XL with this. had to tie the 2 connections in parallel to get down to 2 ohms resistance so I wouldn't blow factory amp. I used the cardboard spacer off the original sub to get the mounting clearance for factory box. It's been installed now 2 months and sounds better than original and working great off factory equipment. love it! Update, I just purchased another one of these 8" subs for a Tahoe that I'm working on as the first one I purchased is still going strong in my Yukon XL after 3+ years. great buy for me!
As the box said, the speaker did not have push down terminals. The 300 watt rms figure is highly dubious. It was used to replace a 6 inch Klipsch with a built-in plate amp in a ported case. It's a computer sound system, so it doesn't have 300 watts of power, but it's powerful enough to make this speaker leap right out of the basket. All in all, I'm pleased with the efficiency and simplicity of installation.
Great sub!!!!!! I made a wooden box for it and it sounds great!!! I have it hooked up to a 120watt home receiver and it works great I bought the 6 inch 600 watt sub. I would definitely recommend this sub!!!!
It does not have a chonky motor. It ain't a even a high class sub but with the right box, this will play low! Pros - Does what it needs to do - plays to 20hz - Dual voice coil with push terminals! Cons - Some plastic feels cheap For the price this sub is excellent!
My ancient Realistic 100 watt tube subwoofer finally dried out to the point it was more thunk than thump. Replaced the woofer with this speaker and am now enjoying nice deep van filling bass again. Should be good for another 25 years!
Very happy with the sound from this speaker. It wasn’t expensive and I wasn’t looking for a boom boom system speaker. Just wanted the bass to be deep and match my treble. Would recommend
This sub is trash.... The box says steel basket basically the entire sub is plastic and cheap made plastic at that. I have a different one i got from the same place it has the steel basket it's made sturdy and functions well. This plastic one won't even fit in my box right.
I ordered two of these and they worked well for about two months before one of them stopped working. After dismantling the entire enclosure, I discovered a wire hanging under one of the negative connectors. I rigged up a DIY method and crimped it to some speaker wire directly to the push down connections after it broke. It's now operational. Aside from that, nice subs for the money!
The cone appeals to me because it is made of treated heavy paper. It has a pleasant sound and a good range of motion. I can alert you that it will not be able to tolerate low sustained tones because the voice coils will overheat and fry. It can't even handle the Watts it claims to be able to handle. If you treat it gently, you'll end up with a good low-power sub.
They arrived today, and I installed them right away. Since my amp can handle 2 ohms per line, I wired the dual voice coils in parallel. Amazingly strong and deep bass from such a small subwoofer (6.5"). It was better than I expected, particularly for the price.
"Infinite baffle's best budget pyle sub! These were purchased as part of a low-cost garage scheme. They're shooting into the garage from the attic. A Yung 300w plate amp is used to fuel them. These subs sound fantastic in a trunk or atmospheric baffle. I'm still breaking them in, but they dig surprisingly deep audio signal and have respectable production for what they are. For the price, these are excellent subs."
Fantastic We have only had it for two days so we will see how it goes after that. It has a 5000 watt planet audio amp on it, and it hits very well. I would recommend it to friends who are on a budget but want good sound.

I bought this along with the Pyramid PB717X 1,000 watt amp, thinking I'd be lucky if I could get a little thump out of it at 20% capacity. Let me tell you, I can crank it up to the point that it hurts my ears. I bridged the amp, and I'll tell you, most of my friends are blown away by the setup, especially when I tell them how little it cost. It's a foregone conclusion.
I've been in the car audio game since the early 1980s and have used items from nearly every major manufacturer. I'm actually using one of these Pyle 12"s, as well as a far more expensive Almani 12 powered by an audiopipe 1500 amp @1 ohm, and this woofer performs almost as well as my Almani, so if you want a decent woofer at an excellent price, this would be a great option!!
These subwoofers were purchased to replace my JL 10W-0s, which had actually worn out after 8 years of heavy use. The quality and construction of these Pyle subs astounded me. These subs, believe it or not, hit harder than the more expensive JL's, and I would recommend them to everyone. I'm pleasantly surprised and pleased with my new subwoofers, which look as good as they sound.
I put my order on Monday morning, and it arrived at my door on Tuesday night. I'm blown away by how quickly everything arrived. They didn't take their time. I've been buying and selling systems for a while now, and this sub has a lot of promise. They say the magnet weighs 9 ounces, which I doubt. It feels like I've grown a bit. With steel stranded wires for the voice coils, the quality is very impressive for the price. I haven't yet connected it. I was planning to connect it to a 5 or 600 watt amp, but everyone says it would blast, indicating that it is capable of more than 1200 watts. Is there someone who knows what size amp I should use in that case?
As a result... I'm an eighteen-year-old girl with no experience with speakers. However, I do know that this sub was only $27 and that it sounds fantastic. My bass is fantastic. This is all I need for my vehicle. I have a 2000 Mustang, and I heard that the spoilers can be rattled off, so I just bought one. I have a boss marine 800 watt amp (a boat amp) hooked up to it, and I got my package from a pawn shop. My point is that I didn't spend a lot of money on all of this, but my car now has a better tone.
Last Thursday, I ordered these from treasure point online. On Tuesday, they arrived. I didn't put them up until the weekend. It was definitely worth the wait!! The installation of the subwoofers was relatively easy. My car was already wired with an amp and cabling to my trunk, and I already had a speaker box. My adolescent son is completely enamored with them!! They sound fantastic. I'm always searching for the right amp for them to get the most out of them, but so far, so far. I'm also a big fan of the paint.
"I bought two of these woofers and connected them to a two-channel 1000-watt amp. These woofers have a fantastic tone. The only criticism is that they did not provide directions for connecting the speaker wires; there are a lot of choices, and it can be confusing. Download the appropriate diagram for your setup from Crutchfield. Even, if you're building your own speaker box, be prepared to tune it. Enjoy - they're a steal at this price!"
I'll tell you something. On a Hiphonics 1500d, I have two of these bridged at 1 ohm. That's about a 2 to 1 RMS wattage ratio, and they lap it up for the most part. I smell coils after about 2 hours, so I turn it down for a minute. You can hold another set on deck for this amount. I have used a rear battery with an isolator to ensure an unlimited supply of power for my amp while the skin on my face beats to the rhythm of the music. It would take it like a champ even though I popped it tomorrow. EXTREMELY WORTH THE MONEY
Better put these at 4 ohms or you will fry them.. 1000 watts is not what they will handle... You only suppose to put 25% more than rms power to them... you will only get 1000 with 1 ohm anyway.... nice subs for a girl.... [email protected] for any questions..
It seems to be a good bang for the buck. Heavy and solidly built. But it's all about the box after that... a good box makes good speakers sound even better. These were housed in a dual 10' ported box with internal individual 2.5 cubic foot cavities for each speaker and jointly vented to center/front.... they sounded fantastic. With a Sony dual channel amp, I'm driving a real 250 watt rms through each of these, which is enough for my listening. Get real if you're expecting to hear a thump from a block away. Even with long throw woofers, 10" speakers are not designed to push that much volume, but half a block away, these are sure to do it....
I use these with my Pyle 4,000 watt bridgable, which I don't use at 2000 watts because it's too powerful. These speakers seemed to be made of high-quality materials. I turn it up and take control of it. I haven't turned them all the way up yet, so I'm not sure if they'll blast, but they're a good product at a good price. If you don't want to compete, these are the ones to go for.
Normally, the adage "you get what you pay for" applies to a lot of low-cost electronic goods, but not in this situation. I bought a 15" BAMF and hooked it up to an AudioPipe 1500W Class D Monoblock amplifier. This thing is delivering really strong clean bass using 1/0 (1 aught) wire in a sealed enclosure. I'm really impressed, and I'm more than satisfied with the money I spent.
Put one of these in my ford taurus on 3000 watts. And wow. This is the best cheapest subwoofer you can buy. Just one of these gives my windsheild lots of flex. Its insane. Definitly gonna put two of these in my trunk
I chose standard free shipping and it arrived the next day! I'm already breaking in the mic, and the cone hasn't even flexed yet, and it's hitting hard! I'm looking forward to being able to get some real bass out of this sub. It's well worth the money, guys.
"This subwoofers bang hard af i have a mono block planet audio pulse 4000 watts . Really throwing just 1200 to both . And they still bang hard my whole seats and trunk rattles "
Good low bass breaking it in now will update will update when I transport to new 4.5 cubic posted box
"Goes well with taramps 3000hd I love how durable and well built this sub is I ran 8awg wire inside it and out into the amp your going to need it I also use 100% polyester to insulate the box to slow down the sound waves very good I did that because my box is not big enough but I need the trunk space overall sounds great "
I've had this sub for around 6 months and have still been perplexed as to why it didn't strike as hard as it could. I took it out of the box it was placed in a few days ago and measured the impedance at each voice coil terminal. The fact that one read 4 ohms and the other didn't read at all surprised me. I tried getting a reading at any possible angle, but nothing. I'm not sure how long it had been reaching just one voice coil, but it was extremely frustrating.
Overall, it's a great-looking sub; I bought mine used from Beachaudio and it was well worth the money. So far, I can't think of anything negative to say, though I wish I could have gotten two instead of one, but I'll just save up. I'll post an update once I've installed it in a dual 12 inch ported enclosure that my friend built for me. It was just something he did when he was bored.
These are impressive. You must have a massive box. I'm currently running 2 of these in a box built for 4 15s with the other 2 holes covered until I get 2 more. There on a 3000 watt bamf amp and they slap. They move my dash and door panels. My amp makes 1k rms also so I'm underpowered and it still slaps. Used them for over a few weeks this isn't a Second day review.
Met and exceed my expectations. Running Single at 2ohm on 3400 watt amp.
"Day one. I am real amazed at how is sounds. Can’t wait to break them in. 2000watts with a 2 way crossover. It is the deep low bass I was looking for.wired down to 2 ohms. "
I ordered two of these 15"4 Bamfs and received them the next day! I was able to break them in and now have two TARAMPS HD3000. 1D was fastened to each speaker. I didn't think it would be able to accommodate 3000 watts in a single speaker, but it has! These (Bad M*****F***ers) are my favorite. Thank you for making these speakers, Power Acoustik. Every time I turn on my Ford Expedition XLT, I wake up the neighborhood! IF YOU'RE ON THE VERGE OF BUYING THESE! DO NOT BE LIKE THAT! BUY THEM NOW!
Came on time, hits harder than you would think ! Only running it on a 1000w amp, built a custom 4foot box and it shakes the entire cab of my truck ! Definitely buying another one and running 2 of them ! Also anyone wondering what wattage amp you will need to run it ! 2000w is enough
wow powerful speaker you need a huge AUDIOPIPE amp minimum 100 amp
"What a pleasant surprise! These 10"" subs vehicle audio are monsters for the price. I then mounted a planet audio 3000 watt amp under the seat in a 2017 Ram 1500 crew car. I've got them wired in parallel all the way down to 1 ohm. It sounds fantastic, but it hasn't been broken in yet. I have the bass on the radio turned all the way down and the bass boost barely turned on, and the seats backs are vibrating quite a bit...amazing for a $30 speaker."
"Simply gorgeous subwoofer from planet audio buy it! So, this is my fourth vehicle, and this is my eighth sound system also have skar audio, bos audio. I came across the subwoofer and decided to buy it along with the amp, and I have to say that I am very happy with my decision. I was hoping for something to simply complement the sound system in my car, but it has delivered much more than I expected. I believe this is an excellent investment, and I have firsthand experience with the amp that comes with it, so I strongly advise you to purchase it as well. But it sounds great; the bass isn't distorted, the sound is smooth, and if you ask for it, it provides plenty of strength."
I bought two Planet Audio 10's for my truck; I've had Kicker, Rockford, and Memphis systems before, and I figured I'd give planet audio a try; I wasn't expecting them to sound as good as they do. These guys are incredible, particularly considering the amount of money I spent, the quality of the product I got, and the way they prepare their boxes for shipping. All was of excellent quality. I also ordered a package of eight 6.5 mids and tweets, as well as 6 x 9s. I'd pair these with any well-known speaker. This is an excellent product.
So, first and foremost, I have a $350 Rockford Fosgate 800a2 amp driving a $35 woofer, and yes, it sounds like a steel drum. But this isn't a long-term setup; I wired this woofer in both parallel and series, and based on the performance I got in series, I'm assuming each coil is 1800 watts each, and there are two of them, so in series it should be able to handle at least 3600 watts at peak. My amp is much too much for this woofer to handle, so I tuned my box to about 80 hz and with my amp tuned back, it can handle the power and still operate for a long time.
The subs say 1800w and 900rms, which is completely false. The RMS of the 12 inch subwoofers is most likely around 300-400. Aside from the manufacturer lying about the strength (doesn't everyone...), these are fantastic subs. In my dual bandpass enclosure, they sound decent and will get better when they break in. Allow them to work for a few minutes before pounding the block with them at full volume.
The rings that aren't connected before you screw them down irritate me. However, once assembled and properly wired, they are currently putting out 600 watts rms per speaker. So, if you're running them through a boss amp and moaning about how loud they are, you're right. All I need is some clean, distortion-free electricity.
It's a big hit for an 8-inch sub, particularly if it's a cheap one from a lesser-known company. Definitely outperforms any other 8-inch subs I've tried, with the ones that were better costing significantly more. Of course, it's nowhere near 1200W, but the tiny 150W RMS Kenwood amp I'm using doesn't quite max it out yet, but it's close, so I'd say it's 200W true RMS, which is enough for a $40 sub. It's fine for replacing the stock Rockford sub in a 2003 Sentra SE-R enclosure.
Excelente producto, cumplió totalmente con las expectativas, y llegó un día antes de lo previsto incluso el paquete sin ningún tipo de abolladura o golpe, estoy bastante satisfecho, claro para un carro chico es perfecto, bastante discreto para el sonido desde afuera del carro y excelente calidad por dentro, obviamente no es estruendoso, pero si buscas disfrutar de un buen bajeo dentro del.coche este es muy bueno.
I have two of these hooked up at 1000 watts each, and about half of them work well for me. Still keep an eye on the RMS bot max watts. If the ratings are right, and the sub is rated at 1000 watts RMS, don't expect them to operate the sub at 1000 watts RMS, but rather 500 watts RMS. Finally, the reason you should break in the sub rather than pound it out of the box is that the glued and sealed parts, as well as the rubber surround, need time to loosen up.
Excelentes subwoofer. Me falta comprar un amplificador que los llene al 100 pero estoy muy contento con mi compra. Apenas hoy estuve checando la configuración de mi estéreo, y ya lo ecualizé de una mejor manera y los subwoofer suenan súper bien. La verdad para el precio y el tamaño, son una chulada. Ya me imagino cuando me meta su amplificador clase D, va a sonar padrote
"4x 8inch 40$ woofers tuned to 5.65cu ft sound quality with 27hz slot port (flat response across entire freq range) With the Jl costing 1200$ and the 4anarchy 8s including box fab costing about 310$Canadian, the box made with Win ISD gives my W7 10 H.O a run for its money. This is sound quality, not sound pressure level. So I went out and bought four more 8's to finish the enclosure for eight of these underdogs that was designed to the JL W7 10 H.O spec."
The planet audio subwoofers were just what we expected. Connect the two subs. To break them in, I ran them for about 6 hours. To power these subs, I also purchased a 2000 Watt amp from treasure point online. For the first two hours, I ran the amp at about 10% capacity. After that, I lowered the amp to about 25% for another two hours. The steps were repeated twice more. I'm now running them at about 80% power and they're working well.
The planet audio subwoofers we're as described. Hook up both subs. Ran them for around 6 hours to get them broke in. I also purchased a 2000 Watt amp from treasure point online to power these subs. Ran the amp at about ten percent power for the first two hours. I then readjusted the amp to around 25 percent for another two hours. Repeated the steps twice more. Now I running around 80 percent power and they work great.
This 12 was purchased to replace a hand-me-down kicker that I had given to our son. Oh my goodness! Wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wo My 15+ year old kicker was a fine sub, but the surround had started to show signs of dry rot, so I picked this to replace it. I put it in the same home-made/custom-ported box I made for his car. I hooked it up to my wife's Jeep to give it a try... holy shit. This sub embarrassed her 10-inch bazooka. I wasn't expecting the effect or SPL that this sub delivered. It's not broken in yet, so don't push it; it didn't even get wet, but I'm blown away.
Even if these subs cost twice as much, they will still be a good deal. Yes, their power ratings are a little exaggerated, but then again, so are a lot of amp ratings, right? In my Ford Contour, I've got a single 12" in a sealed box that I'm driving with a Boss R1100M 1100 watt mono amp (which is massively over-rated). It may sound a little muddy at times, but that's probably due to my stereo's tuning settings as much as it is to the speaker's output. But I was so pleased with the sub that I wanted to buy another one when I was putting together a framework for my e46 BMW. But this time I went with a single 10" in a sealed box because the 12" seemed a little muddled.
"For the price, this is an excellent subwoofer. It's a big hit for an 8-inch sub, particularly if it's a cheap one from a lesser-known company like dark audio, taramps etc. Definitely outperforms any other 8-inch subs I've tried, with the ones that were better costing considerably more. Of course, it's nowhere near 1200W, but the tiny 150W RMS Kenwood amp I'm using doesn't quite max it out yet, but it's close, so I'd say it's 200W true RMS, which is enough for a $40 sub. It's great for replacing the stock Rockford sub in a 2003 Sentra SE-R enclosure."
"I didn’t get them from treasure point online because they lost my package, but I got them from Fry’s because I still wanted them asap. I still want to leave a good review. They are outstanding subs! Nice looking, and VERY loud for 10’s. This is a good deal for some quality 10’s. I went for these over the cheaper 10’s and I’m glad I did. Planet Audio stuff has always been good to me, so I went back to them for this build. Pushed by their 2600.2 anarchy amp. More than enough power for the subs, and more than enough bass with 2 of these subs. I’m very happy with these. "
"Bought this 12 to replace a hand me down kicker I had given to our son. Wow! I mean really... wow! I really felt my 15+ year old kicker was a good sub, but the surround had shown a bit of dry rot starting so grabbed this to replace it. Placed it in the same home made/custom ported box that I built to fit his car. Hooked it into the wife's jeep to test fire it.... holly crap. This sub made her 10 inch bazooka cry in shame. I really did not expect the impact or SPL this sub produced. It's not broken in, so not pushing it, didn't even get warm, but incredibly impressed. Add in the 30$price tag... I just can't understand how this happened. I am tempted to grab one of my Rockford power dvcs and toss in the box to compare. (Sitting on the shelf since changing vehicles and unable to decide what I'm doing lol). Her jeep is running a Rockville r5amp.. so maybe 500watts to the sub? If I trust the birth certificate. I am for sure buying more as the rest of the boys come of driving age. Longevity, who knows, but I wouldn't expect it to die before a teen poked a hole in it or leaves the vehicle unlocked for the 10,000 time and gets it stolen or some other natural disaster. When tunned right, placed in a correct size enclosure and fed clean signal... I bet this will out live his car lol. It's a solid built 12 inch sub, kept its cool for a 20 min run... very impressed overall. "
"I doubt seriously that this amp has anywhere near 1500 watts, but it has decent power anyways. The amp has a LFE setup that cuts the bass at 90hz and I think that is quite low, I ended up buying a head unit that has a built in cutoff itself. Only thing I needed that was not included where screws to mount the speakers in the box, other than that, this comes setup with most of what you will need. The speakers look really cool, the box looks ok, but performs quite well. Someone in the warehouse left a nice giant footprint on my box. Great entry level setup. "
"You get what you pay for with these speakers sound quality is okay and they put off a bad electric smell once used for awhile. "
"Rap sounds really good on these speakers, because rap has bass, and these speakers are made for bass, and they have good bass, so they are good for rap. That is all "
"Great product nice price and sounds good would buy another one any day "
"These subs sound pretty good not the loudest ive owned but better than i expected for the price break them in carefully and they hit pretty hard use a good crossover and you will be pretty happy "
"I took the time and followed the directions with breaking it in. Speaker absolutely destroys speakers 3-4 X the price. I have this ran @ 2ohm @ roughly 500 RMS to be safe, paired with a Plant Audio 1500 Mono amp and couldn't be happier. Super happy so far and no issue within the past 3 months. Use a voltmeter to assure you aren't overworking the sub and keep it below 650 RMS and it should last! "
i was skeptical due to price but the other speakers i was looking at were going to run $800 for 2 x 1000 watt speakers so i decided to try these out, price difference i didnt have much to lose. No complaints so far have 2k watts rms pumping into 2 of these speakers and they sound amazing. Break in times were rough had to fight the urge to go full volume. But s far no real complaints these seem to be a good quality speaker for the price. If you are like me a kicker fan for many years dont be afraid to test these they are worth the $$
"Put it in was not impressed with the sound went on with it and 3 days later stopped working going back to alpines! "
"Great subs for the price. "
"2 10 inch subs paired with a 2500w amp in a sealed enclosure. They don't pound the low lows but they do have a great range and will shake your car for sure. For the price these left an amazing first impression after hooking them up "
"I bought this only because I had a spare 10"" ported box and an extra channel on my amp. I paired it with a skar ddx 12, in a separate box. Holy shit! With 600 rms going to it, this thing does more than the skar! $30 well spent. We'll see how long it lasts... the sub is a bit smaller than my old RF 10, so I had to cut a new hole and tack it to the front of my box, but no big deal. Recommended this sub as long as you don't have high expectations. "
"Great sub. Sounds better than any sub I've heard that's in this price range. Hits really hard. Looks great too Update: blew it within 5 days with a 500w rms amp only 1/3 volume. Returned it, replacement arrived the day after they received the blown one. Great customer service. We'll see if this one holds up. Hopefully I just got a junk one"
"Against my best judgment, I purchased a package, and WOW the rings that aren't attached before you screw them down are a pain. However, once built and properly wired, they are currently sending out 600 watts rms per speaker. So, if you're running them through a boss amp and moaning about how loud they are, you're right. All I need is some clean, distortion-free power."
"For the price these 10"" subs are a monsters. I have then installed under the seat in 2017 Ram 1500 crew cab hooked up to a planet audio 3k watt amp. I have them wired in parallel down to 1ohm. Sounds amazing and still not broken in yet. I actually have my bass on the radio down all the way and the bass boost barely on and your can feel the seats backs vibrating quite a bit... "
"I purchased two planet audio 10 for my truck, I have had kicker systems ,Rockford, Memphis and I thought I would try planet audio, I' didn't expect for these to sound like they do.these guys rock..say for the money I spent, the quality of product I received even the way they pack there boxes for shipping.Everything was top quality .I also ordered 6.5 mids and tweets set of eights and 6 x 9s.I would put these up with any name brand speakers.Great product. "
"Let me start by saying this was an excellent upgrade to the stock blown factory sub my suburban had ! There had to be modification as it would not fit directly it needed to be spaced out a half inch so I used the ring from my stock blown sub that had the dust net that covered the speaker and used it as a spacer and installed it . I recommend bridging the two connection sides of the sub negative to negative and positive to positive that’s from 4 to 2 ohms as my suburbans factory sub was 2 ohms . That factory sub ring worked perfectly to space it . I installed and out all panels back on and noticed the new sub was barely touching the panel grill so I decided to cut out the panel grill perfectly and install a 10 inch sub grill to the panel for esthetic looks . It works great sounds amazing for a 8 inch sub and makes a world of difference ! "
Second speaker installed and its crackling already after 2nd day....smh no good...smh...i just purchased 2 2000 watt lanzars 4om and they sound perfect..
"I decided to downgrade from 2 12in for 1 15in for space and I'm very happy with the decision this Sub bangs "

"Bought 2 of the 8 inch dvc 4ohm sub. Got these for a home medium sized tower speakers for my garage. Built the towers using one of these 8 inch sub, 8 inch mid and a 1 inch tweeter on a 3 way passive crossover with a 1 cubic ft. port enclose for the sub. Hooked these up first on my receiver and I would say they're only getting around 50 to 60 watts at most. I am very impressed with the bass output of these little guys with the little amount of power theyre getting. If I had a larger room and made 4 of these towers for my living room I wouldnt need a dedicated powered subwoofer. I totally recommend these for the best bang for buck 8 inch sub you'll get. "
I installed this sub in a SUBTHUMP box in the backseat of my 2005 Toyota Tacoma Access Cab. This paired with the 1500 Anarchy Amp from Planet Audio. (using both voice coils at Amp as 2ohm load) I am very happy. Fills up the cab w/ more BASS than I really need. Can be heard from the outside of the truck and from a pretty good distance. The sound quality it good. Maybe I'm lucky... but this was a good buy!
Price, Price, Price. This speaker sounds better than the kicker setup that my daughter blown thus the reason I bought these. Just be sure to break in the speaker(s) if not you will cause the voice coil to overheat causing a blown speaker. I broke it in before putting in my daughter's car. I do believe the wattage is overrated. I have a kicker 600watt amp and it sounds great, I don't see it needing a bigger amp.
Both arrived opened boxes one had a slight voice coil rubbing other was good, so hooked up to about 300 watts with volume almost all the way down to check operation before installing and the one instantly locked up and other seems to somewhat work but makes weird clicking sound inside

Sounds great in our 00 Tahoe with the stock amp, stock stereo, and in the stock box in the lft rear quarter panel . It fits perfect plugs right in .On the small connecter just support the back and wiggle the conector side to side while pushing and it will fit . We are very happy with the bass / performance. I did connect the dual voice coils parallel to drop it to two ohms like the stock 8" woofer.
Great bang for your buck subwoofer. I bought this 8” shallow mount because others had said it would fit in the stock Yukon/Tahoe location. I have a 2001 Yukon and it was a perfect fit and easy replacement. Would most definitely recommend to somebody with a Yukon/Tahoe looking to replace the stock sub.
"Oh my goodness, what a pleasant surprise! These 10"" subwoofers are a beast for the money. Then I installed a planet audio 3k watt amp under the seat in a 2017 Ram 1500 crew car. I've wired them in parallel to a resistance of 1 ohm. It sounds great, and it hasn't even been broken in. I have the bass on the radio turned all the way down and the bass boost barely turned on, and the backs of my seats are vibrating quite a bit...incredible for a $30 speaker."
I bought this to replace a factory subwoofer in my Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer Edition truck. I looked at ones that cost much, much more but they didn’t meet the specs I needed for my application. I needed a relatively high wattage sub that was shallow enough to fit into a factory sub box without modifications. This fit the bill. I’d never used Planet Audio equipment before until this purchase but let me tell you, it’s done a great job at handing the 1000w amp I have it paired with. Handles the really low lows with ease and sounds really good. Wouldn’t hesitate to purchase again or purchase other planet audio equipment when the need arises. I very highly and enthusiastically recommend this subwoofer and Planet Audio, in general. Great value for the money!! You won’t be disappointed!
"2004 Lincoln Navigator non-thx factory amplified system This little sub is very compact and fit well in the factory sub box. Take out sub and seal factory hole in back of box wire up install new sub all holes line up with factory done seriously that’s it the speaker ring that comes with it won’t fit on with factory Lincoln speaker bolts but you don’t need it in this vehicle it’s hidden behind kick panel and can’t be hit touch smashed etc. This sub sounds amazing in the box with a wide range of hz to blend right in with rest of system. However I’ve not ran it with the factory amp can’t see why it wouldn’t sound decent it is low powered amp maybe 55watts, I’m pushing it with a 1200 watt ma audio amp turned 3/4 gain and all boost off and it runs it great you can crank it up it won’t distort ,pop , crackle and carry on if you have an aftermarket head unit that can control subwoofer options it sounds even better I highly recommend this sub for low power use It’s great quality and built strong but it’s a small low power speaker I would say the 1200watt is spot on if you push more it will probably blow it But for money and slight factory upgrade or replacement it’s perfect if the time comes across for another I will without a doubt buy another "
"I just order these speakers everything was brand new in the box perfect condition, sound great and pack a punch, best 100 dollars spent so far "
"I had had another value base 5 8"" subwoofer that had had the rubber surround fail. I am more than pleasantly surprised as this woofer has far exceeded my old woofer. The only down side is that this woofer has the spade type of connectors instead of the spring type shown in some pictures. Unfortunately, the plate broke while installing the cables like other reviewers have reported. These are very low quality, but were easily repaired to allow the speaker to work. This was a big disappointment as I have never experienced this in over 30 years of audio builds. "
"I am honestly surprised by the quality of the sound. I replaced the sub in my 2002 Tahoe. The new sub fit like a glove. It’s the perfect depth for the box. Step it down from 4-2 ohms by following the enclosed instructions. The mounting holes don’t aligned with the factory holes, but it didn’t matter. Just drilled new holes and used existing screws. The sound is warm and clear. For the price, I was expecting something about the same quality as the OEM. It actually has much more depth that I anticipated. The speaker could be a little more in price. But, I’ll take it! "
"I got to say I have not tested a small sub with such big sound in a long time. If you are looking for some good bass but only have a small budget and small space this is your guy. It works well in 1 cuft vented and really well in a bandpass box. "
"for the price this lil sub is awesome an has surprising bass, depending on box enclosure. but I'm very happy, shipping was insanely fast "
"Bought for my 2001 Tahoe to replace factory sub. Sounds great for what it is and what it costs even though it is under powered by the factory amp. Fit perfect. Had to drill new holes and used different screws to mount the sub in the box. "
"Subwoofer has a very low price point. It performs extremely well. The sound produced is very clean, clear, and seems reliable. This subwoofer does not require a large box to hit the very low notes with precision. I will probably by another. "
"Started cracking immediately sounds like crap is not what I was expecting but I guess it will make do "
"for the price this lil sub is awesome. It has surprising bass . I'm very happy, shipping was insanely fast "
"Replaced OEM speaker based upon web videos of it's installation in my vehicle. Crisp when the music calls for a loud bass. "
"perfect depth fit for factory sub enclosure and factory sub amp. using an after market stereo head unit wired directly to my four speakers. i wired the two coil inputs for a series 8 ohms which achieved the perfect attenuation balance for sub out jack. "
"I paired it with a Bazooka tube and a 1000 watt crunch amp. Hits hard through the whole range on a low pass filter with gain about halfway up. For a single 8 it definitely moves some air. Sounds clean and tight with no distortion "
"This sub can comfortably accommodate 500w RMS and wears it proudly. But I took a gamble and bought one because it was fairly priced and had higher scores. This sub is operated by a 1500w ssl evo amp (ratings checked showed only 750w), 4 gauge(True 4 gauge)wire, and a line out converter. This thing seems to be robust, and since it's a single coil, I've developed a new appreciation for Lanzar speaker products. I assure you that you will enjoy this."
So I took a chance and bought 1, it was a reasonable price and it looked nice with better ratings. Fast foward a week later I got around to installing it, this sub is powered by a 1500w ssl evo amp (ratings tested showed only 750w , 4 gauge(True 4 gauge)wire and a line out converter. This thing is durable it seems and its single coil, I have a new respect for Lanzar products. You will enjoy this I promise you
Iv been buying this subwoofer for over a decade when I need a durable sub that is dirt cheap and pounds.. yes the sound quality is not amazing but absolutely moves air and adds bass when needed.. great starter sub for budget builds .
"Bought 2 lanzar 12 max svc subs. 1000 watt max rating. They sounded great for the money for 3. 5 months. Pushed by a MTX2300 at 4 ohms stereo. This amp tested on the dyno at 530 watts per channel at 4 ohms 13.5 volts stereo. These subs abruptly smoked after 3 .5 months and not used frequently. VOICE COILS IN BOTH BURNT AND FRIED MY AMP. WOULD NOT BUY AGAIN. "
"I bought the single 4ohm Lanzar Max ST 12 and it is pretty decent for the price. I will note though, I was running a planet audio ac1500.1m (severally under powered amplifier) on it and I could tell it could use more power. I had a pioneer amplifier laying around and swapped out now the subwoofer gets down but it gets hot quickly and you’ll smell coil from literally just a hair over 200rms true power, kinda sad. BUT it is a 50 dollar subwoofer so expect that for the price. "
"I thought there were two; instead of 1. But it sounds alrite; but would be better with 2. "
"Sounds just as good as my pioneer did "
Love lanzar subs great for the price
Incredible speaker! I built a potted box for this tunes to 27hz. This thing hits so low I can’t help but feel like I’m hearing new super low tones for the first time, and I’ve built countless systems & subwoofer boxes. These are by far my favorite subs on the market!
"I've blown 3 running at 600 peak they are rated for 1000w these are not good "
I know this product is very well made, the only problem I had was the package was left out by the main road on my mailbox and someone took it before I could get home,if ordering stuff before Christmas make sure you have secure drop off spot
They are awesome definitely worth the money
nice product but didnt know it was single voice coil should state that in the details i figured lanzar max were dual voice coil but they do sound good next time i will ask before i buy again they do sound good was just expecting dual voice coils nice product but didn't know it was single voice coil should state that in the details i figured lanzar max were dual voice coil but they do sound good next time i will ask before i buy again they do sound good was just expecting dual voice coils
"First things first, RMS vs MAX. This sub is 500 Watts RMS, 1000 Watts MAX. That means it can handle 500 Watts all day long and short peaks of 1000 watts. Although treasure point online doesn't do a good job with the specs of this sub check other websites to confirm what I'm telling you. Furthermore a 500 Watt RMS sub should be matched with a 500 Watt RMS amp (Be careful not to match 500 MAX with 500 RMS, etc) After exhaustive research I decided on this sub for my single 12"" sub system project. I wanted sound quality so I built the proper sized sealed box (for tighter more responsive bass) and tuned it with polyfil for proper frequency response. I paired this with the Alpine m500 mono amplifier, 500 Watts RMS, also inexpensive ($149) but high quality and perfectly matched for this sub. Couldn't have asked for more out of this sub! For all those people who are running this sub off 1000W, 1600W or 2500W amps...no wonder it's burning up, this is a 500 W RMS sub. Use it how you're supposed to and you should have no problems. Keep bumpin'"
"Subs are awesome. Don't give them too much control. I'm not sure why people have given this subwoofer bad reviews; I have two and they sound just as good as or better than the two Rockford Fosgate subs I previously owned. They're great value for money."
"Lasted about 3 months blew them, it was my fault, hooked them up to a 3k tar amp and they sounded amazing for like 10 minutes defiantly hit really hard, speakers do have some potential but I fried the leads, these sound good in a large ported box or a banpass "
"I bought 2 of these not expecting too much, but these subs sound great and can hit!!! I don't see buying these other expensive subs when you can get these for a quarter of the price "
"One year since purchase. Sub still sounds good 500.1 amp up 1/2 way and still beats as if I just got it out of the package. "
"Didn't even work when I got it. "
"Really fast shipping. I hooked it up and it sounds awesome. I will be buying another in the future. "
"i got this sub today and it sounds ten times better then my kicker comp 12. i have this sub and a JL in a dual ported box. i turn it up to about 14 and that's perfect my whole truck is shaking. I'm glad i got this sub i would defiantly buy this sub again. it has really good lows and highs its perfect i encourage anyone to buy this for their first sub or their second one or whatever. "
"Great subs bet harder than them weak Pyle subs I order a week ago.... "
"Hooked up a 1000 watt amp and was going down the road and my trunk blew open will not close now it sounded like something trying to escape out of my trunk these things pound hard if properly broken in if you automattically start alot of bass in them then yes they will fail fast but owned for 5 months and still going currently replacing my altinater cause when these hit it looks like im a cop car "
"I bought these for my nephew for his birthday. Less than a week after installing them, his car wouldn't start. Turns out that these bad boys vibrated his starter loose from his engine. He's got them hooked up to a 1000 watt Sony amp and they thump. Seriously. It sounds like there's a gorilla trying to get out of his trunk. "
"Terrible sound quality, voil coils separated after 2 months. "
"In the proper sized box, this subwoofer performs outstanding! Pay attention to the wattage requirements, as this speaker does not like to be undriven with a low wattage amplifier. The response is great, and the frequencies are clean and accurate in the range it is designed to play in. Would recommend. "
Great subs bet harder than them weak Pyle subs I order a week ago....
"maximum 15"" lanzar subwoofer for speaker Ok, I bought this for my son, and let me tell you, it was a lot louder!! than both of us had expected!! You can't go wrong with a good sound for the money. 5 stars highly recommendable packaging and excellent value for money."
First and foremost, these small guys pack a punch for their size and price, and they seem to be of reasonable quality. I packed two of them in smaller-than-recommended sealed boxes with a generous amount of poly-fill. They sound fine when the voice coils are parallel (2 ohms/speaker) and a 100 watt/channel amp is set on the LPF. They go lower and louder than I thought, and the bass thumps inside the truck cab. Outside of the automobile, though, it's not like the cars that rattle your windows and knock your fillings out—these just don't produce the same sound pressure levels as new, full-sized high-performance subwoofers.
"I originally had a sundown audio 15"" E-Series sub. I sold it to buy these 2 lanzar st 15s. Man I am extremely satisfied with these Subs!!!! The hit really hard, way louder than my Sundown Audio! I swear! No BS.. DO NOT underestimate these subwoofers! "
"well i want to say i purchased this for my son and when i say it was a lot louder!! then we both expected!! good sound for the money cant go wrong nice packaging and good value for the money 5 stars highly recommend "
Love it sounds awesome in my sealed box great speaker for the price
"Far better than I had expected. These were a direct replacement for my stock system's blown subs. They do much better than their price suggests. Reasonable build quality and a good magnet for its size. lanzar speakers and subwoofer "
"At this price-point my expectations were low but I wasn't looking to rattle the windshield loose with bass, just replace the 6.5"" subs using the factory box in my X5. Only very minor needed to fit them. I am driving them with an Alpine 600w (bridged, 300w / ch). WOW.. These little subs surpassed my expectations, after carefully adjusting the amp, they handle all all I can give them without complaint. They will ""thump"" surprisingly well and at higher levels can feel them through the seat back. We will probably never listen to them at that level driving to get groceries but as I said, very impressive. The construction is rugged and the coils run cool, so they should last for quite a while! "
" For the price, it's like a sore dick cause it can't be beat. It's not gonna win any competitions, or make a true audiophile cream their pants. It can, however, lure hood-rat teenagers into a pedophile van. These were a direct replacement for the blown subs in my stock system. They perform far better than the price would imply. Good construction and heavy magnet for the size. "

"I bought a couple of these just to try in my bazooka tubes for poops and gigs but I wasn't very impressed at all. Even after a little break in period they didn't like much power. Though they do sound decent at low to moderate volumes. Maybe it was my enclosures that made them sound like that. I do think they would make an excellent factory sub replacement for vehicles that have factory premium sound systems. "

They will ""thump"" surprisingly well and at higher levels can feel them through the seat back. We will probably never listen to them at that level driving to get groceries but as I said, very impressive. The construction is rugged and the coils run cool, so they should last for quite a while! "
"i love it.it is best. i will buy again. "
"They sound good. A lot of bass for a small speaker. I put them in an old bazzoka tubes.i run them hard and have blown one up. This is the replacement speaker. Lasted about 2 years the other is still booming. "
"These little Subs really pound good and have a really good clean crisp quality sound too. Definitely five stars "

"The terminal that connects the speak is damaged "
"The lil subs rock a trunk if u put two or 3 in a sealed box no breather holes been rocking them hard for 5 years .. I did blew one but the replacement is with the older one 600- 800 amp would do just for bass only "
"Thumping, bumping, subbing.. call it what u want.. very nicely priced.. lil guy bumps... "
"perfect size and power. bass is loud enough to have my friends ask me if its really coming from this sub. "
"Awesome little subs. Wished they would fit on my Harley. But work great in pickup "

"It's great for what I'm looking for!! In my 1997 Lincoln Town Car, I bought this to replace a blown factory JBL Audio 6.5-inch subwoofer. The Lanzar subwoofer was ""plug & play"" in terms of installation, as no changes were needed to mount it within the car's factory enclosure. That shocked me because the Lanzar's magnet is far larger than the factory JBL sub's. Regardless, it was a dream match."
"Excellent combination of speaker and amp. The speaker is very well made big magnet and sounds good. The amp is power full and you can adjust the frequencies also volume. I put it on a bazooka box and sounds amazing, I don't have much space in the back of my F150 pick up and this made a great sound system for my truck. It sound nice and beauty full, if you are looking for a very loud system this system is not for you, if you are looking for a nice power full small system this is for you. "
"Great sub for the price! I bought 2 of these a couple years ago to replace the subs in my Range Rover and I haven't been disappointed yet."
"its pretty loud for just being an 8 inch speaker "
"Pos woofer dual coil sucks wish I never bought it this speaker will mess amp up cheap is not the way to go sometimes "
I used one to replace my blown Klipsch pro media computer speaker system. It thumps way better than the oem sub! Happy guy!!!
It came quickly and looked good quality unfortunately I did not use it.
"I bought 2 of these a couple years ago to replace the subs in my Range Rover and I haven't been disappointed yet. "
"These woofers work well and sound good for the money. Will buy from this seller again. "
I like the way it look but it was as described in the description wasn't going to write a review but this sub has a platic basket instead of metal was lied to and the sub makes a bad rattling and buzzing because its plastic overall wouldn't recommend
This thing is powerful for it's size, not the best sound quality but hits the bass accurate.
I was surprised big time ! I think lanzar has made there products just as good as the big boys with a lower cost ! Bought one to see if it was any good and after hooking it up I ordered one more for a project.
Kicks pretty good for an 8 inch. Does not come with mounting screws.
sound quality is amazing and a great price
"Clearly audible. I bought four of these, but only used two of them. They came in one box and were shipped easily. At first, I was cynical. When compared to my alum12n, they're very light. I'm using a Hifonic hfi1000 mono amp wired in parallel at 2 ohm 750 watts. These are nice and clean, and they strike hard. My audiobahns are much louder, but these have a good clean sound and replicate bass extremely well. They're good for the price. Of course, if you want spl, you'll have to pay more. With these, you will be noticed. If you get a pair, you'll be satisfied."
I've had bose jbls & Logitechs (not that logitechs are great but whatever) These are the BEST subwoofers ive ever heard i got 4 of them! Put them in a sealed box & put the right amount of power to them they sound amazing! I was worried about buying them because they are so cheap but they are not cheaply made. I don't know what the bad reviews are about?!

Great sub for the price. I'm running it in series which puts it at 8 ohms. I listen to classic hip-hop a lot and it hits pretty hard. The bass frequency is amazing. Don't let the price fool you.
"I purchased two 12's they sound good until you put a lot of power to them. I have a 1000 watt amp and it is two much for the two subs. They start smelling burnt if turned up too loud and sound quality drops drastically. Good low budget speaker. You get what you pay for though. "
"Me and my husband purchased three speakers and a Amp, we have received the three speakers, they look as described and came on time. One was not working and the seller/company offered to replace or refund once they received my email message which they responded less than 24 hours ?. We agreed to a replacement. That's wonderful customer service!!! Will rate 5 stars again when we receive Amp and everything is fine. Thank you!! "
"Buy these subs. They sound great. I have had some nice subs, Alpine, MTX, Sony, ect, these hit just as hard if not harder. "
Every sub sound depends on the amp, box and stereo. I used this with an audiopipe apsm1300 amp, scoshe 12" sealed box, db link hi-low converter and 4ga wiring kit on a factory hifi bmw stereo. This was my first install btw.
"I've owned a set and have sold sets of these. They are an all around good speaker. They compare with the 250 watt RF or the jl of similar quality. Are they the most expensive? No. But some pay more for less out there. If you wire wrong or put too much power of course any speaker would burn or not sound good. The right box, the right amp, the wiring design (ohm) ,and you'll be good. Alot of people just throw anything together and expect it to work. These are a good value for the price. "
My son loves bass and he loves it. The best value he's ever seen.
Speaker is trash, coil burn in 20 minutes on a 600 watt boss amp tuned to 450 watts i do not recommed umless your going to run very, very, very low power to them $$$ down the drain i geuss you get what you pay for...☹☹☹☹☹
These are great subs for the price... I built Custom T line box on a 300 watt amp. They do great... People guess they are12s but not the wattage... P.s. the box is everything!!! Never had the cap over the magnet give me a problem. They are good subs im going to do a cheap build and use these as sleepers...
For a woofer this cheap, these things pound. Great purchase. Have them hooked to a hifonics brutus amp.
"Excellent buy when i first power up this speaker i was blown away could not belive sound coming out from this one speaker i was planning to purchase a second one but this one speaker delivered more bass than what i needed ,i don't need a second one i love the light weightless weight on vehicle i have use more expensive speaker before like kicker but compare to this light weight and sound quality would purchase this HIFONIC speaker 100 times over competitors "
Wow. I was surprised. Two subs for that price. I put them in a sealed enclose under my back seat in my extended cab Silverado couldn't be happier.
"excellent car seaker amplifier Maurice Andrick Reviewed in the united states,Mississippi This is a great Amplifier. Haven't used a class Audio Amp d or a brand that isn't well-known before, but I really like how strong and crisp the bass is. almost simillar to dark audio amplifier."
"Great product for my car speaker Great product at a great price. It's better than a power acoustic and dark audio amplifier(audiopipe txx-bdc4-12). I will love to say welcome this audiopipe amplifier. "
"It's a great amp for the money but the problem is...... Perfect amplifier for the money, but it only lasted a month. After a month, Amp crapped out. It was brilliant and sounded fantastic, but it didn't last long. now thinking for trying skar audio "
"Really nice. Fabulous audio power amplifier puts out 1500 watts RMS @ 1 ohm, and I've used it to power two competition 15s, four competition 12s, and four highly competitive 10s without even exchanging heat. Without a doubt, the best value for the money. I will certainly buy from them again. "
"Fantastic Purchase!!! Small amplifier but high power For the money, this is a fantastic amplifier for my car speaker. The only problem I have is that the Battery and Ground outputs are both 4 gauge. In my view, the value should be zero. It is almost similar to taramp "
"Unsatisfactory I wanted to try a new brand. And sadly This amp was not what I expected. I have 2 12in JL audio w3 and I could not do the job. It could only pick 1 up. I'll be returning this. I should of gone with a brand im used to. car audio installation near me, those are very usefull for this Amplifier."
"Very loud and well made it's really Great amplifier. This product price like wholesale car audio."

"Loved this audiopipe amplifier Great product at a great price. This amplifier produces more watts than it claims. I already own three of them and intend to purchase another in the near future. "
"Best amplifier in low price This thing is a force to be reckoned with. Despite the fact that I play it a lot, it has a clean sound and does not overheat. I'm using it to power an NVX VCW124 and it's been fantastic so far. I have a mechman 240 amp alternator, a two-battery bank, and 2/0 welding cable for power and ground (using reducers). If you feed the amp properly, it can endure a lot of violence. There are no complaints about this order. "
"I will not purchase this item again. The amplifier produces power...but there are drawbacks, amplifiers get warm quickly, ten minutes of tuning rendered the amp really hot to the touch. The set screws for the amp's energy and ground are extremely easy to cross thread and eventually mess up. If you're going to make a heat sink like this then you need a fan. If audiopipe adds fans and tightens the fixed screws, you'll have a serious winner with this class D amplifier. "
"Not worth it Pulls too much power. Keeps killing my battery. Both alternator and battery are new. Returning this week. Also when bridged the amp cuts off"
Good amp I mean great amp This amp is doing more than expected pushing 2 cerwin vega 12 s at 2oms great amp love it only autopipe from here on out"

"Best audiopipe 1500 watt amplifier I love my amp; it sounds fantastic through my two audio pipe speakers, and the shipping was lightning quick. I highly recommend them. "
"The Best amplifier i had ever seen under $200, this is one of the best amplifiers I've ever owned. I wish I had heard about these amplifiers years ago. This amp comes highly recommended by me "
"Really nice amplifier in low prices This 1500 watt will do well over rated power if your electrical is done correctly at 1 ohm, and it will not clip if you don't go wild with the gain. That said, she can be a power hog, so make sure you do ""the big three"" and, at the very least, have a capacitor (power cap) capable of handling a 2000 watt amp, or at the very least, buy an agm battery for a secondary to hold in your trunk. If you're a novice, all you have to do is look up ""the big three"" on YouTube; it'll take a little more time but it'll be well worth it. This can seem to be a ton, but it is actually very plain."
"a strong heartbreaker This is a montser amplifier. Two pioneer champion tens sounding like fifteens. And only at a quarter gain. To keep the subs from smoking, I had to turn up the subsonic filter!."
"Loved it!!!!! Great product at a great price. This amplifier produces more watts than it claims. I already own three of them and intend to purchase another in the near future. "

"The amplifier not lasted long 5 months after purchase, the amplifier stopped working. The power pulses and the security lamp illuminates. It was a massive disappointment. "
"Good Value for Money Relatively small amplifier with a lot of power, rms power is true. "

"Excellent buy for the money This is a fantastic audiopipe subwoofer, it is very underrated for power handling. "
For under $150, this is one of the best amps I've ever owned. I wish I'd heard about these amplifiers years ago. I've got it hooked up to two 10" P3 subs, and it hits like no other, even if the amp is only turned up a quarter way. I would strongly suggest this amplifier to everyone.
It's a good amp, but it's a power hog. Prepare to upgrade your car's electrical system and if you don't and don't have a high-quality amp kit, it won't play loudly at all.
"Small amplifier and very powerful, true RMS.
"Great amp for the price but was short lived after a month. Amp just pooped out after a month. It was awesome sounded great, just didn’t live long. "
Awesome amp puts out 1500 watts rms @ 1 ohm, and I've used it to power two competition 15s, four competition 12s, and four competition 10s without even warming up. Without a doubt, the best value for the money. I will certainly buy from them again.
For the money, this is a fantastic amp. The only problem I have is that the Battery and Ground outputs are both 4 gauge. In my view, the value should be 10
I'm completely enamored with this amplifier. The build quality appears to be excellent, and the amount of power you get for $160 is fantastic! I gave it a YouTube review. I'm not allowed to post links on this site, but here's the YouTube code: zPTxQa-ugkk, or just Google "APCLE 15001D 1500 Watts for $150?"
I've bought a little over 15 ideas for my shop this year and have never had a complaint.

"Digital high quality amplifier. adam smith Reviewed in the united states, alabama This was bought to replace the subwoofer for a Jeep TJ. The installation went off without a hitch after a few slight tweaks to the housing. You can find videos on how to do this on YouTube. The speaker performs as well as the OEM, with the exception of the Jeep."
"Jeep TJ Will fit with effort in TJ console."
"Sound great! Installed these in my 98 camaro z28, I had to make new screw holes with self tapping screws. wired them parallel at 2ohms. Hit pretty good sounds great with factory amp, can’t wait to wit them to an external amp!"
"Speaker lasted one week It lasted one week, but it may have been my factory amp was too strong for it."
"Seems very well made for the price. Bought this as a replacement woofer for the Mark Levinson sub in my Lexus GX470. Modified the enclosure to fit this (original was 5.25"" with foam surrounds and a paper cone), and after putting it all back together with a good bit of fiberfill in the sealed enclosure to give it a little more volume, it sounds great! I like that it came with little feet so you can work on the connections with the speaker face down. The rubber surround is quite beefy for a speaker this size, and the bass sounds nice and tight. Wired the voice coils in series to bring the impedance up to 8 ohms (one of the main reasons for choosing this woofer) since I'm still using the stock amp."
"Good replacement Used as a replacement center console speaker for a 2004 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. Watched a few YouTube videos on how to install and I did have to break off a few of the plastic pieces to get it to fit like the videos showed, doing so had no consequences whatsoever. Great price and a great replacement."
"Worth the price and good quality Fit perfectly in my 2000 Saab 9-5 wagon. Matches the factory screw holes. Very impressed with it and the price. Rubber construction will not rot in heat. Harmon Kardon certified for 6.5 inch even though it's 6 inch"
"Dude/sweet Nice little subwoofer I have it set up with two Dayton audio 4inch subwoofers in a sealed enclosure "
"I mean.. just know what your getting. A cheap sub. It’s exactly what your ordering.. a cheap Chinese sub. It makes noise, I wouldn’t necessarily call it bass but it does a little."
"Its hit hard marcus dylan Reviewed in the united states, alabama I've bought a couple of subs over the last 20 years and I strongly advise you to give them plenty of box and strength. It's actually set to 3.5 and tuned to about 36, and it hits. I combined them with a Skar 2000.1 "
"The bass of the devil First one a buy an I tho k I'm ready to buy the other one for my other car thia thing sound terrific waoooo nice basss bummmmm bummmm"
"Beast of a sub I've got a single 10"" in a 1.4 cu ft ported box powering it with a CT Sounds AT-1400.1D and BELIEVE me when I say...it freaking slams!!! And also, the new version that I got is 1500wrms 3000peak. It could probably take more. Best sub I have ever owned."
" Don't pass this up before, the prices pass up your pockets. The day I got this subwoofer in the mail, I knew it wasn't the right one I paid for. even though it had the same rep sheet. They both are 2000 watts and 10in subs. After playing around with this subwoofer in my room, I knew it was a monster straight out the box! I just now found what version of sub I got and if your thinking of getting this, then you better get a good amp and box. I'm running a 1100w boss amplifier and it handles it perfectly. All in all even though I paid less to get this sub,Its amazing and don't miss out on this. A+"

"One of the best 10"" sub for under 200 Verified Purchase No complaints at all !"
"substitute for the Bose 143443 P. Initial component #143443 P was used to replace the woofer in our old Bose Acustimass that we purchased in 1995. The bolt pattern also lined up perfectly. Only the fiber mounting of Blaupunkt pad/insulator from the old speaker was moved to the new one."
"Great value. Highly recommended. Love the product been using it for over 20 years plus.. Hands down! "
"Good sound I upgraded from Kicker CompR's and the AudioPipe are like night to day. These subwoofers Bang! Well spent purchases. "
Decent subwoofer for the $$$. I put 8 of these in a transmission line enclosure, powered by 1200 watts. They get LOUD....I'm definitely not disappointed
"My sub blew after about 3 months of using it. The sound quality was pretty good when it worked. I had replaced my previous Planet Audio 8in sub with this one. This one sounded much better than the Planet Audio. I gave up on 8 inch subs and went with a Kicker 12 inch. BIG sound difference. Spend the extra money on a 12 inch. There's not a big price difference and the space savings are almost non existent. "
This is an amazingly great sounding little subwoofer. Handles power very well and gets loud. Works well in very small ported or sealed boxes. Sounds so good that I added a second one. Out performs some of the more popular name brands. If you’re working with just a little bit of space for a sub...this will definitely fit the bill.
"Sounds good. I replaced my Challenger's factor 8 inch subwoofer with this one as a cheap alternative and it sounds good. It is being powered off the factory amp so its not super loud but my car stereo has a nice rich bass tone to it. "
Amazed at the bass this sub puts out. In the right box, it pounds.
"I replaced my old Sony unit with this. Intstallation was straightforward and sound quality is just fantastic! I can hear much more lows and it definitely kicks! "
Used to replace the woofer in our old Bose Acustimass that we bought in 1995, original part #143443 P. Perfect fit, even the bolt pattern lined up. We only transferred the fiber mounting pad/insulator from the old speaker to the new one.
Blaupunkt disappoints. Paired this with a Blaupunkt amp and proper box and speaker froze after 3 months. replaced it with a Kicker and still going strong. You get what you pay for when its cheap.
"Product used for in home subwoofer powered by sub plate amp. Much much better than others I've tried. This product has been a trusted name in electronics for many years "
Exelente subwoofee, la calidad de materiales es muy buena, mejor que muchas otras por el mismo precio, sin duda la volveria a comprar, funciona perfecto en un cajon porteado
Nice clean little replacement speaker for the price. very happy with it.
"I had to make a special mounting to fit original place in my Lexus. Quality of build and sound quality is really good. High volumes not needed, but adds the perfect amount of bass to the rest of the system. Although I use it on low pass filter, I have tried it full range and it also performed very well."
"At a great price, this is an awesome subwoofer. When opposed to $300 subs I would have given 5 stars if I hadn't got the old one, which is new. I prefer the older model because it is more attractive and has a stitched surround. I received a bdc2 audiopipe. The item for sale is an audiopipe bd2. Sellers must be certain that their listings are accurate. It's not the same as my other sub. And I'd like them to coordinate. So I went out and bought a new bdc2 12. I returned the new one."
"Would of gave 5 stars but buyer beware I recieved the old model which is different. I like the old model better looks better and the surround is stitched. I revieved a audiopipe bdc2. The listing is for a audiopipe bd2. Sellers should be sure to list correctly. Doesn't match my other sub. And I want them to match. So I went and found another bdc2 12. Sent the new model back. "
These subs are so amazing. 2 of them in the back of my car on a pioneer 2400 watt mono amp at 2 ohm is crazy loud. I'm 16 and just needed some good cheap bass and these are the best your gonna find. They are in a ported box and faced up for louder sound.
"Audiopipe sub Love the product been using it for over 20 years plus.. Hands down! "
I engineered and built a 2.95cf ported enclosure for the trunk of my car. The Amp I have is cheap trash and barely pushes 300 watts RMS. In my enclosure this woofer is a monster. It rattles everything in my car, it moves the top frame of my doors, it makes my trunk seal innefective. It's awesome. Hopefully soon I can get a better Amp installed with a high output alternator and really start to shake stuff up. I'll be using TXX-BDC series in every build I do from now on.
This sub slams the only reason I'm not going to give 5 stars is one of the voicecoils was misaligned I assume from shipping but it made a horrible vibration noise around 70 hz I had to take it apart to fix it. There was also a gash in the surround I had to reinforce but all is fixed and sounds great. I built a custom ported enclosure tuned to 32hz at 2.8 cubic ft volume with 800 watts rms running to it. And apart from the flaws at first it's a beast of a subwoofer especially for the price. Not really a huge fan of the wire connections but they are at least solid. Just kind of a pain during tuning and building the enclosure. But great subwoofer for a starter system especially in a custom enclosure it needs breathing room.
"This speaker is well worth it. Haven't gotten to really test it yet but will update after break in period. Sounds very good at low volume. I plan on buying a second in the future "
"Didn't want something too pricey but still good bass and this sub has delivered exceptionally. They did send me the bdc2 instead of the bd2"
Awesome beefy speaker cant wait to run it through the gauntlet!
Speakers blew after a couple weeks.
This is hands down the best subwoofer you can buy for the money, I am beyond impressed with this sub!
"This is audiopipe monster 2000. Oh my goodness! That pretty much sums it up. Wow, just WOW. I switched from a Kicker Solo Baric classic to this, and yeah, what a difference. If you're considering getting it but aren't sure, don't wait any longer. Only take it. You will not be disappointed in the least. Quite stiff, with a wide surround and a well-built and attractive sub. Couldn't be more pleased!"
"Replaced 2 12 inch subs combined at 1200 watts rms for the bdc4 15 audiopipe and all i can say is OMG it pounds pushing it with 1200 watt rms amp at 1 ohm and it is slamming gonna upgrade amp soon to 2000 watt can't wait good job ap thanks "
"First off, let me say, shipping was amazing, I paid for it that afternoon and it was picked up around 10pm and made it here by 3pm the following afternoon! Thank you! Now that I'm done shoveling manure. This speaker is a beast I have it in a 32hrtz ported box, the lows are like thunder. I'm pushing it with an audiopipe 1000 watt monoblock, wired for 1ohm. What a great purchase, super quality speaker, high spl, massive thump! I can only imagine how much larger the sound would be if I were running an amp closer to its limits. That other review said it first, do yourself a favor and get this speaker! Whataspeaker! "
"Great Subwoofer I upgraded from Kicker CompR's and the AudioPipe are like night to day. These subwoofers Bang! Well spent purchases. "
"Very heavy, super stiff and just one of the most flawless subwoofers i have ever purchased. Amazing build quality, massive high roll surround that makes this one of the sexiest 15"" subwoofers ever. Bout tp run it at 1/4 power for a few weeks to give it good brake-in period, cause it reallt needs it, the spiders and surround are ridiculously stiff and barely moves. Wonderful product by Audiopipe!!! Sender sent me tracking info fron the moment i bought this sub and it came in a few days early. Hits the lows unbelievably extremely deep, load bass. I heard many different subs in my life but never had one that hit this hard, best subwoofer ever."
"I advise you guys to purchase some audiopipe subs Great subs love them"
Quality Made and Built, Makes other speakers wish they was AudioPipe!! For that Move the Whole Vehicle Bass i Recommend this 15" Quadstack Magnet Duel 2ohm 2800watt Sub.. Bang for your buck Boom!
"Amazing sub. Had it for 30days and it’s perfect with 1100 rms power. Had to rotate it in the box because it backs out the wood screws lol "
"Audiopipe Monster Great sub for the price it’s a budget Monster"
Perfect condition just as described works well exactly what I was looking for
I first have to say i don't understand some of the bad reviews of this sub here or how they are being used. I bought two of these a while ago for home use. I have a Behringer 6000DSP I power them with and they are able to take every bit of power with no audible distortion. They also can play/hit extremely low. I mean below 10hz for in m basement (The balcony door moves at those frequencies). They also look really nice for home use as well. These really need to be broken in before people use them at full power for long periods of time. These are very heavy also. Some people just like really loud bass to drive down the street to. I personally wouldn't use these subs for that. These have a great sound quality and the looks for use for something more functional. Not to Name drop products but I also had 2 Power Acoustik Bamf 15's and they blew on my pretty fast at their rated power. SO FAR, I would recommend these BDC 15 subs for the quality the looks and power handling. The surround is huge and may not need this for the excursion, but it adds to the looks as well.
"Love these sound amazing I have two audio pipe 2000s one hooked to each 15 and is probably gonna beat the sun roof off my 335i I would recommend these to anyone for the price you can’t go wrong!!!! "
"I've reviewed a good bit of subs on treasure point online over the years. And I've reviewed subs that could handle way more power than the BD4. But not anywhere near its price range. Lets be clear. For less than $200 you are getting a 3.3 inch coil mounted to a 250oz motor. That. Is. Nuts! This sub is a Sundown SA demolisher! It kills ANYTHING in its price range by ALOT. It sits comfortably at 1500 RMS and laughs at its competition. Nothing competes with it watts per dollar. The BD4 is the most impressive 1k+ sub ive ever ran. I would buy 4, build a wall, hit 155 at 30hz and spend $800!! Enthusiasts, just think about that. The BD4 kicks ass! "
"i had got one an had it on a 1000watt audiopipe amp an it blew after playing it for a week "
"Wow This subwoofer hits hard love it"
"a strong amplifier I have my doubts that it can deliver the rated output, and the distortion from this amp is a little on the high side, but it is still a decent amp for low-power sound systems."
the quality is great i ordered a second one for my other car. on some cars i noticed a buzzing sounds but thats cause i had my tuning dials too high for the speakers to handle how strong this amp is for them
"I honest Thought I Was Getting Into Poor Powered Amp, But Infact This Thing Is Trully Amazing With All My Speakers. i have 6x9,tweeters,3"", speakers and this products wakes them up, i had to turn the power levels to zero due to the power this product produces. i highly recommend this 4 channel amp for full range and tweeter aplications. A PLUS in my book. save your money spend less and invest it on better quality speakers instead. I'm still amazed my brother and friends are amazed on how this amp performs. I LOVE IT"
"Definitely will buy again small in size big on sounds "
"This item plays very well i definitely recommend this product it worth every penny..................... "
"This product is really good I connected to high inputs and sound very good is perfect for small cars fits anywhere "
"This amp really does the job. Replaced my alpine amp with this one and its SUPER surprising how well it pushes the door speakers. "
"T hank you so much.. On Time very happy with the Amplifier."
"Love it It's okay for the value"
"It is well worth the money set aside in the budget. It's driving two power acoustic mofo 15s at 1 ohm and it's not even set to half of what it's capable of. I like this amp (update) after buying a second one, I'm very impressed. The first was good enough, but the second is even better."
"Sound Storm is Amazing I have only had the Amp (ssl ev4000d) for 3 days now but it is Amazing. i have never had an amp that doesn't heat up but after an hour of pounding the thing it is cool to the touch , my old Lanzar would have shut down and scorched your hand after about 10 minutes of my abuse. quite possibly the best amp i have ever owned and for 109.00 its worth double . I still have no clue how the workers at Sound Storm developed an amp that doesn't heat up . at all !! and thanks for all the reviews before i bought it i read them all . and yes i was a bit skeptical iv'e been burned before . but the amp is everything yall said and so much more.. Thank-you sound storm and the people that gave an honest and great reviews.. BTW its a shame my neighbors wouldn't agree how great my new amp is . after 3 months its still Amazing best amp i have ever had. for the money its a steal."
"Great amp for the price. Awesome amp. Have it hooked up to 2 Kentwood 12's with no problems at all. Actually worried that it could blow them lol. And compared to the amp I had before. It blows it out the water. Sound quality is great. The type of bass you would like to hear. Clear. Not distorted. No extra noise coming out of the subs besides bass once I dialed it in. For 118 bucks. It's not a bad buy. I ride around with my music pretty loud and it's held up well. No cut outs in hot Louisiana weather (it's also in my trunk). I'd say for the price it's not bad at all. If it last a year or two. It's a good amp and buy in my eyes."
You definitely get what you pay for! The product is great and functions so well, im powering 2 kicker cvr 15’s in a 2013 Chrylser 200, and it bangs! BUT... know that you may need a capacitor or extra battery because it may get hot, and also know that SSL does not run true to what it says. It says 4000, but it really may only be about 1500 to 2000.
"I didn't know what to expect ordering an amp that was cheap, I would recomend this amp to any one, very nice looking and performance was great, lots of power, great amp, i will never spend hundreds of dollars on an amp again when i can get such a great amp for such a good price, 100% satisfied "
"Flat out raw power!!! Flat out raw power.. I have been selling and installing 12volt for over 13 years... This amp out shines other high dollar amps.. I have this amp in my suburban with a 3 farad cap pushing 3 pioneer champion dvc 12's @2.67ohms and it beats so hard.... I'm just sayin.. dosent even get warm.."
"Very clean sound, tons of power, no overheating, doesn't cut off, no power draining. Just all over what I wanted for an unbeatable price!! "
"I have had 3 of these. Not because any of them blew. But because I've used them in just about every subwoofer project I've done for the last 6 years. The amp is small but still pounds. I've used it to push a single 10. A pair of 10s. A pair of 12s and a single 15. Never been let down. When the performance is combined with the price it can't be beat. This is my favorite amp for subwoofers. "
"About to order another one for my second ride this amp is so great, Running a twin 8"" skar box and 12"" kenwood with no hesitation or even slight temperature change. Have had alot get hot or fry wires but this guy right here can handle it and for the price its no question. "
"its pushing 2 power acoustic mofo 15s at 1ohm and its not even set at half of what it can do i like this amp (update) after ordering 2nd 1 im really impressed 1 was good enough but 2 is better they really do put out even just 1 can handle 2 15s at 1ohm all day with no issues "
Can't beat it for the price.. I previously had a Power Acoustik 2500.1D and it wasn't doing the job for my single Skar svr-12 but this SSL 4000 brought it to life??.. Its in my work truck so only got a couple hours play time but so far so good, I'd recommend this for anybody looking for a good quality but affordable amp..
"Wanted something simple to power a single sony sub and this ended up working just fine. After setting everything up and got the remote where I wanted. I now have a nice clean sounding setup for my vehicle. Would buy again for sure. "
"It was easy to set up and I had no issues with it. I'm not an expert on amplifiers, but I gave this one a shot. It was really easy to set up, and I've had no issues with it so far. I couldn't get the remote control to work at first, but I later found that it won't work if the machine is set to Hi. I'm not sure why that is, but another amplifier connected to the remote worked whether it was on hi or lo."
I purchased two of these for $37 each in 2013. Keeping in mind that I didn't really expect 1000w at $37, but 200w would be great, even 100w. I figured if I didn't like them I could return them and at that price, I have nothing to lose.
I've had this amp for 5 years now and it's done me well. For the price it is an excellent amplifier. There are a lot of reviews on here criticizing this amp but I don't believe any of them read the the specs before buying. You can't write negative reviews because you bought the wrong thing. That being said. If you are looking for a competition amp, then this is not it. But don't expect to buy one for this price either. If you are looking for to enhance your terrible factory system, this will HELP get the jog done. The amp can't do it alone. You need to upgrade other components as well. This amp does supply clean power and is a great entry level amplifier. IT WILL NOT HANDLE A 2 OHM LOAD WHILE BRIDGE. Well it will but not at full power. READ THE SPECS BEFORE BUYING. This amp also has a very nice look similar to studio level audio equipment. I like that.
I don't know too much about amplifiers but I gave this one a try. It was very easy to install and I had not problems with it so far. Initially, I could not get the remote control to work, but later figured out that it will not work if the system is set to Hi. Not sure why it is like that since I had another amplifier to the remote worked whether it was on hi or lo
I like the look and it doesn't have that bright blue light. Currently running with 2 10inch kicker comps and the output is great. Wanted to do a budget build and this hit the nail on the head.
Excellent product. Power output is good and does not get warm pushing 300 watt sub.Had a little trouble with the amp 6 months after the purchase. I sent it back to sound storm and they fixed it , no question asked..
I've been using this amp for a little over half a year and have no problems yet , it's powering two , twelve inch kickers and wired with a wiring kit from Walmart for $30. Sounds great , I don't set my settings to rattle my windows but I know It has the power to. It also came with a bass knob that I set up but I don't really notice it do anything so there is that, but it's awesome for it's main purpose.
"Good Amp, Read the specs on the amp before you purchase! I paired this amp with a bazooka tube ( also purchased on treasure point online) and it sounds great in my 05 ford f150 FX4 extended cab. I have it bridged and seems to push just perfect for the tube. (would run two tubes just fine) "
"Great amp for the price. After my Pioneer sh*t out on me, I shopped around the internet for amplifiers that would rattle my windows but not break the bank. This one fit the bill perfectly. Tons of adjustment options, clear and precise bass, simple setup (took me about 10 minutes, with my wiring kit already installed) and it looks beautiful. The power LED indicator is really bright, but I guess that can be a good thing. It doesn't draw heavily on your electrical system, either. My old amp used to make my lights dim and RPMs fluctuate and that kind of thing, but this one is a higher wattage and draws almost nothing out of my electrical system. Highly recommend, it's worth it. My bass control knob works with my amp, but I already had one installed so I'm leaving the SSL one off for now. THIS AMP STAYS COOL. I've had it pounding non-stop for a three hour road trip on several occasions, and it never once heated up on me. Just make sure it can breathe, it is vented on the bottom so I would recommend mounting it to something to allow airflow underneath it. I used just a small piece of wood to prop one end up about an inch, and that's plenty. "
"Nice amp, fair price, works good. No issues. "
Had an1000 watts that lasted for a few years before so I doubled it to a 2000 watts and it has not disappointed.
Great amp, works perfectly as should. I would consider this a 600w amp not 2000 but if you do that it will be everything you need. Drives my 2 10" subs great!
"This isn't the biggest or most powerful amp but its worth the money. I have it pushing 2 rockford 12's in a single cab truck. It sounds better than the 1500 watt audiopipe amp and 2 Memphis 12's I used to have. Sure they're are better amps. But not everyone can afford them or even like them for that matter. If you want serious sound buy digital design. Their stuff is bullet proof and second to no one. That includes all you high school kicker fans. "
I used this amp with the 12 inch dual terminator subs. And this is the best system I've ever had by far. I've owned jl audio 10's 12's. Rockford 15's and 10's and hifonics. USE THIS AMP WITH THE TERMINATORS AND YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED.
Helps to push my Sony XSGTXL121LS 12' SUb really well. along with my deck tho i don't even have to turn up the bass with the remote most of the time. My little system sounds sweet
"In my view, the Sound Storm Laboratories 200watt is worth it for tweeters. This 200watt SSL was purchased solely for tweeters, and it was money well spent for me. The only problem I had was that it didn't come in a box; instead, it was wrapped in plastic, and the screws for the control, remote, land, and audio output were all off and not screwed on. But it arrived in perfect condition, with no scratches or damage, so I got lucky. It was well worth my money."
"perfect little amp !! Some people will look at this amp and say not so great things about it """" but to be honest it's perfect for lower wattage applications !!! It's an I.C. amp not mosfet and not high wattage ! But for tweeters or door speakers it's just right ! It does draw much power to operate and its small size makes it easy to install almost anywhere ! Clean sound small size and no upgrades to your vehicles charging system needed !! It's just what you are looking for in a smaller amplifier !!
"I used this in my Harley installed into my fairing (batwing) right on top of my radio. Amplified only the front speakers. It's works very well! Perfect for what I needed. Just make sure you follow wiring direction and pay close attention to installation and tuning directions. I over powered my aftermarket speakers at first and had to trim back the knob for output. Output is based on input from your radio. I bought a crossover box to convert my stock Harley radio speaker wires into the RCA cable inputs however that isn't necessarily a part you may need especially if you are using it as a full range amp like I am. "
I purchased this 200watt SSL strictly for tweeters & it was money well spent for me. The only issue that I had that made me upset was when It arrived it wasn't in a box it was only wrapped in plastic & also the screws for the power/remote/ground & for the Audio output was all off & not screwed on. But it came in complete & not scratched or damaged so I lucked out. Worth my money ???
Don't even bother. You get what you pay for unfortunately. I was being cheap and just wasted my time on this one.
I don't have a lot of power demands - only two 6.5" rear speakers. Amp does a great job. Looks well made with a comprehensive owner's manual. Easy to hook up. No complaints.
"For those giving poor reviews due to ""not enough power"" you should research your product and what you intend to use it with, or have someone who has been in the audio industry help you. I've been in car audio for 15 years, professionally trained, worked in various shops and competed in SPL competitions, among a myriad of other things. Bottom line: This amp works great for what it is. This will not blow you away, this will not pound anything, it is made to add a few smaller speakers to a setup if you are looking to get a bit more sound. I utilized this in an install recently adding a set of lower end Pioneer 6x9's to a wagon that already had four 6.5's in it. Sound was clear, power matched to the 6x9's beautifully, worked as intended. I also run the 3000.1 monoblock and a 12"" SSL in my daily driver, I wanted something inexpensive but good sound, not disappointed. Will this win any comps? No. Will it sound good for the money? Absolutely. Most head units nowadays put out at least 50w and since this runs 50w RMS @ 4 OHM you wont gain much switching from a head unit to this amp. This is one designed primarily for those wanting to add 2 more speakers to their setup to just gain a bit more sound. For the DOA ones, any company mass producing will have products that fail, unfortunately most of the people who speak the loudest are often due to poor experiences. Such is the industry. If you are looking for an amplifier, know the speakers you intend to use, match the amplifier to them. If the speakers handle 80 RMS, get an amp that can do 100 RMS. If you can run your amp at 80% rather than 100% it'll save the life of your amp significantly. You can always dial an amp back, you can't dial it past 100%."
"This little amp is great you get more than you pay for I bought this amp for some 6.5 subs and cause it was small and cheap not expecting a whole lot. I finally got room to get a bigger sub thought i would use this amp to break it in and its done way better than expected running it bridged at 2 ohms for about 3 months with no problems barely gets warm and from the way it sounds you would think its a higher wattage i hope this helps you to make an informed purchase."
"Purchased to run my dash 3.5 HED Cerwin Vega's and did alittle wire switching around and this amp seems to work great powering my door mounted CV HED 5.25/tweets. Along with an EQ/ground loop terminators to sift out unwanted noise. Not a real powerful amp but the sound quality for the price point is awesome. Save up for more power if your looking to go deaf. Some of us look for the sound quality...……...not the quantity "
"Nice amp I use this to power a 12 sub in my truck. using it more than a year now and it's rock solid"
"Works fine It would have been more convenient if all the switches and wire connections were on the same side. "
"Great little amp for the price. Bought it to power a pair of speakers in a box for my pickup. great sound. "
"It was really easy to set up and I had no issues with it... I'm not an expert on amplifiers, but I gave this one a shot. It was really easy to set up, and I've had no issues with it so far. I couldn't get the remote control to work at first, but I later found that it won't work if the machine is set to Hi. I'm not sure why that is, because I had another amplifier connected to the remote control."
